I watched your short video about sleeping at a truck stop(my introduction to you) which I enjoyed so much I went immediately to your web site to check you guys out. I carefully choose to watch this video next since it was your latest and definitely caught my curiosity. I'm a 75 year old retired teacher and KZbin addict. Your enthusiasm for life and adventure is exactly why I explore my life and why I adventure each and every day. I vacationed with my wife and two kids in a souped up VW van(Country Homes Vanagon) back in the 80's exploring the western US and Canada. Your imagination and creativity remind me of my 4 and 8 year old grandkids. I am so inspired by you two and will follow your old and news adventures.

The official model name of this bus is the Blue Bird TC/2000 FE that used to be a handicapped school bus. This is the same exact bus that Shawn and Ash have lived & traveled in. They do have a KZbin channel, but their last video was posted over 2 years ago when they biked a marathon around Acadia National Park.

Wife and I converted a short top chevy express to road trip in a few years ago and have absolutely LOVED every adventure it gave us. 4 years or so later, we’re ready for a bus ourselves.

Awesome 🙂 With a front engine, check the rubber strip around the inside engine cover (dog house). That's the most common entrance for mice. Aluminum tape can repair tears and also stick it back where the metal fasteners are broken. Don't use duct tape as it can't handle the heat there. Looks like fun!

Stained glass section for the bathroom for that gap. Will still let natural light in. Or do wood slats that open to still let air through. And for the steps and wooden wall, penny round mosaic tiles 😃 Also make the inside of the steps storage with a lid that clip in place for loose stuff 😉 And put curved sunk in lockable pullout shelving otherside👌or just open shelving. And a new bit of carpet ☺️

Omg how exciting, so happy for you two! This really is a unique bus, I love it! P.S: I live in Tampa, in the Westchase area, so cool that you are in my city! It's definitely can get hot and humid here in Florida, but we get some AMAZING weather this time of year. We get some cold mornings and days here and there, but just when you get sick and tired of the cold, you get a few warm days, so best of both worlds! I love watching you guys, and you honesty remind me of how me and my hubby get along. Quick comment. You say the bus has air brakes. I haven’t heard you say you have obtained the certificate for air brakes. In my country you need it to drive. Do you not need it in the US?
