@Red Noland 2 words - total shit. Been to Roadhouse 3 times for "to go" orders. Wrong food 3 times. Even been handed food only to have another server come to the car and take it back. Also, meat always severly overcooked. Been to Bubba's once and served a raw (not rare) burger.

Kent Taylor would call my husband and ask him for his grandmother’s chicken and dumplings recipe, this was more than 25 years ago. He was a great man, very humble! Threw some great parties to show his appreciation to his staff. My condolences to his family.

Man this brings back memories, I opended and worked as a bartender at the first Buckhead and opened the first Texas Roadhouse also. Kent was a great guy and knew how to party =). I Currently work for Texas Roadhouse and it's a really great place to work. The management and my bosses are extremely nice and go out of the way to help you. They've even given me rides home when I would work late and didn't have a ride. I even had a few co-workers do this for me as well. There was a couple of times in which I wanted to quit and the management and my bosses talked me out of it and I'm really glad they did because I really like working there.

Recently went to one in Flagstaff Arizona. Loved it! Definitely had that chain feel which was okay for what I needed at the time. I was beat and had a long day and just needed some decent food and a good cold beer. It was the perfect place for both and the service was simply awesome!

I worked ( very, very briefly) for a Texas Roadhouse location in 1999! The required peanuts on the floor were annoying to look at and clean up. They served back then and apparently still do serve great, hot bread/ rolls and butter before dinner. I snagged me aplenty during my work shifts back then! They rival the garlic biscuits @ Red Lobster (I worked for RL too for a spell!)

Two of my sons worked there during college and off and on after. My wife and I made the eighty-mile drive nearly every weekend for six years, and the employees became like extended family. I can order meals from memory, and never had a bad experience in all that time. Now I have the urge for a 20 oz bone-in ribeye and a baked potato.

Tinnitus is horrible, it's so irritating, extremely!! If I take a medicine it seems to get worse ,,I use to buy ear candles ( when they were $1.00 for 1 candle and that did soothe it a little bit ,it felt so good to just sit and be..I get dizzy as hell ,its bad today !! Weird how that happens on a day that ,a video about it pops up lol ooohhh I hate this shhhiiit..

Texas Roadhouse never disappoints. I did get served a sirloin instead of a tenderloin on our last visit, but it was not a problem. It was delicious anyway. Did not know about the founder. I too suffer from severe Tinnitus. Some days can definitely be a challenge to keep sanity. It can be a living Hell. Times of quiet solitude seem to be the worst for me. My deepest condolences to the family. I pray to God daily for a cure or at least a treatment for anyone who is afflicted with this torment. RIP Mr. Taylor.

Love Texas Roadhouse. We went to one New Year's Eve a few years ago and it was packed, but that didn't slow the service. It was just as efficient as always. My nephew worked at one when he got out of high school and when he would be on Easter and Christmas break, from college, and during the summer, they would let him work, knowing it may just be for 2 weeks.

My son worked here part time in the past here in NW Louisiana. He remains friends with many of his coworkers. We have an Air Force base here and they have parking spaces specific to Purple Heart and other Veteran statuses. It's a huge favorite here. Mashed should also do a backstory on Schotzky's, it's very interesting, and was originated by a couple of sisters going to the University of Texas from my East Texas hometown, making a family recipe sourdough bread muffuletta that for years was the only item available other than chips and drinks.

I did not know this about the founder. My heart goes out to the family. I've ate at a few different locations and have no major complaint. As a matter of fact at one of the sites around Rochester, NY I ordered the 24 oz bone in rib. Normally I eat about half and save the rest for later, since we are staying at a hotel. This one time I got my steak and I could not stop eating it. Before I knew it I had ate the whole thing. I miss going, but since fighting cancer for over a year I can not eat them. But once surgery is done and I can open my mouth the first place I'm going is Texas Roadhouse.

I love the Smokehouse Burger & the 16 oz. Cowboy Cut Steak. The cooks get the meat cooked to a Tee & service is consistent even when there's a rush. Not to mention the beautiful ladies are literally serving you with a smile. TRH Rulz! Keep up the good work!

I have been working for Texas Roadhouse for 27 yrs. we are store number 12 in the company. i thank God for my job. it is a fun place to work, and our Mrg. staff work`s with to make your job fun and safe. we have has over the year`s staff member`s who have loved one`s pass away. and the staff will alway`s chip in and help out in anyway they can. one time the staff got wind of a team mate in need, and they gave all their tip`s they made that shift to the fellow co-worker.

They call that getting the steak "blackened" where they use their cajun seasoning to sear and cook the steak. I love getting my salmon blackened when I go there and it doesn't cost me any extra. Hope this gives you something new to try out if you go again.

I love Texas Roadhouse I go there once a week it's extremely casual and such a good value whether you get steak chicken or anything else even their shrimp on a skewer is good the only thing that I don't recommend command is their drinks are very light and very measured and not really cheap so unless you just drink beer or something else else don't count on a good drink

My favorite Roadhouse is RHODE ISLAND ROADHOUSE. Great service and open 24/7 for seniors to stay warm in. Yummy Rhode Island Steaks. Try the Providence Pudding desert it's just lip-smacking delicious.

A Texas Roadhouse rib eye steak...so, so good! Have to add, none of the other chain steakhouses are even close. However, the York Steakhouse (the last of its kind) in Columbus, Ohio is great for nostalgia and their rib eye steaks are really good.

Recommend everybody pick up Kent Taylor‘s book named made from scratch. It goes into depth on the hows and whys for his developing Texas Roadhouse. We own one and I’ve worked for the company for over a decade. As far as international corporations go, this one is pretty good. Exemplified by the outpouring of heart experienced when Ken Taylor took his life due to COVID-19 symptoms. Kent Taylor also froze everybody’s bonuses so that they could not go down during the pandemic. And stores were instructed to keep everyone’s job at all costs as they revamp to go systems. No one lost their job unless they chose to. Anyone who had to leave to do different work during the pandemic was welcomed back.

As an employee at a local/ non chain steak house I can say our steaks rock. They're cooked out front so customers can enjoy watching the chefs do thier thing. However, my experience (s) @ a TRH wasn't bad, great service/atmosphere. Prime rib wasn't the best ( kinda bit too fatty & not much different than one would get at a Golden Corral). But for the price & great atmosphere, nice place

I always prefer Texas Roadhouse over other steakhouse chains because the service and food are consistent no matter where I go. The value vs price is acceptable and I’ve never had a bad experience. I sympathize with the owners family, I too suffer from tinnitus. There are days it’s pretty unbearable causing me to sometimes be in quite a foul mood. It’s a difficult malady to live with.
