I really regret not watching this video earlier because of my own stubbornness. I just got up to the uber driver interview, and I'm completely shocked that I NEVER heard about this. I NEVER heard about the truth of the Amanda stuff, I NEVER heard the truth of the Nick Cantu stuff, I never heard about so many other serious things. It's like Dream released this video and people went radio silent about him. This whole time I thought Dream was an a-hole, but seeing the things he did and the choices he made in their context is really depressing because yeah, there's not much he could've done that wouldn't have received a lot of flack. I'm not even a content creator, but when I noticed, after using Twitter for many years, how it genuinely made me have more toxic thoughts and show more toxic behaviour, I deactivated my account. The honest truth is that Dream is actually highly knowledgable. From explaining situations with clear proof, to handling his emotions and internet abuse, to purely preforming highly skilled hobbies like coding. It shows how much people nowadays prioritise looks, and how much disappointment and attention seeking can drive an individual to do; all just because he face revealed and people got disappointed that their fantasies didn't align with real life. No one ever focused on the knowledge and skill that was already given to us in the videos he has posted. All that people felt and saw was what they made themselves feel and see. Dream has clearly, as seen through this video and his whole channel, never even done anything to insinuate that he's 'weird', 'creepy' or anything anyone has ever accused him of. I'm so glad that this is out here, but it is so sad that he has to be doing this in the first place. It's not just terrifying, it leads to depression, low self esteem and suicide. I wonder how Dream all overcame this. I've been a scapegoat in every relationship I had, mostly because of being silly and adhd+autistic. My friends call me stupid everyday, no matter what I say with no explanation and laughing, people I tried to be friends with called me stupid if I even tried to talk and told me to shut up, and when I joined twitter obviously people were even harsher and told me to kms, that I'm a pig and etc. 2 suicide attempts just from the way people treated me like this, and other attempts were generally adding up with what happened too.
