chris hamilton more area of traction will still help. The dump truck looked like tri axle. Differant states, differant rules. Here they can be 66k, Quad axle I don't know, because some states recognize them, and some states dont. I know tractor and trailer can be 80k, unless special permit. Not saying weight isnt the biggest factor, but for pavement, pavement tires. Would love to see on dirt vs. Dump truck where those agricultural tires would really shine. The Dump may still win, but the deuce and a half would give it a greater challenge with all wheel drive.

Hard to tell the brand, but those type of ropes are often rated for 20-60 tons, or more. EX: Bubba Rope Extreme, rated for over 130,000lbs. The rope isn't the weak point.

Airing down INCREASES the tire’s contact patch, and allows the sidewalls to flex a bit to store energy. In the dirt and rocks, airing down will again give a greater contact patch, increase flotation, and allow the tires to conform to rocks for a better bite...
