Geez , that was great to watch , and very motivational . You show that no obstacle gets in the way of a great attitude and passionate motivation . I did an old Supra up , swapping the motor , rebuilding it and turning 85 hp into 380 . Not I'm a family man and the falcon seems like a better idea these days . Cheers mate

Man, I would just want to see that XT with the humble factory look which is fitted with hub caps and 16 inch wheels. Just to see the XT badge (which i reckon stands for X Taxi) go quicker than the 2016 HSV GTS at the drag strip would be the Holy Grail for the Falcon nameplate. The title for this KZbin video should be, "One last swing from the Falcon Taxi Cab driving Community." Have a Taxi meter as well just for laughs.

Hello Scott , Thank you for sharing your project i have often wondered if i could put a Turbo and after cooler on my NA BA RTV . Lucky you spotted the battery cable where it was. Also i noticed the turbo lube line looks to be sitting on the body maybe put some hose on it. Regards from Old ford driver

Does the F6 have the wrong coolant in it? From my experience, Ford uses green. Holden and Toyota use red.

i used the fg turbo map sensor on my na t T build as it plugs straight in and works rather than finding a plug to suit the b series one and mirroring wiring .. mine made 396rwkw but i had a half built turbo motor on e85

hows it goin, ima huge xr6t fan ive got a f6 typhoon motor and trans im currently rebuilding to put in my 2005 ba xr6 n/a daily This n/a xr6 turbo conversion looks like fun and have decided to do this n/a conversion whilst building my powerhouse. just have a couple questions. Is the documented conversion you've completed safe to be used daily,? with professional tune? Did you use have to swap the n/a ECU for the f6 ECU? what size turbo do you recommend for this conversion?

Thank you. Nah the basis of it all would be the same id suggest getting some F6 injectors and some waterlines depending on what turbo you go. Other than that should be very similar.

You just inspired me to put it all back on and get tuned properly.. Our tuners know what's up now 3 years later.... How much boost for that? 12psi?? How much would the f6 make on same boost? I haven't done any research but do FG manifolds work on B series? I thought FG heads had square ports and B series had oval?

I will have a look into the fg manifold. All Barra heads are the same, some ports, turbo vs n/a have different valves. Ba-bf-fg have different cams 👍

cheers scott yeah been doin a little research into it , useing ba injectors ba throttle body on the fg manifold need spacers for the ba injectors , think the water pipe needs modified and need to work out the bracketry that hold the manifold , any info and videos in the future will definatly help everyone out, again great work on the ba xt mate

Oil feed isnt too hard you just fit it without the airbox there, its in video part 1. I just realised i didn't put the parts in the list at the end but they are in video part 1 👍

There would not have been much alloy that made it into the sump, i drilled it out with lots of grease then sprayed degreaser into the hole with the sump plug out 👍

I think the xt btr box is better than the xt zf 5spd auto box. Atm in the process of doing a fg xr6t to make it a lil more fun but it has a 6 speed 😁

Its just a pipe and intercooler kit , 4 inch intake and battery relocation atm deciding to either add injectors or bigger turbo before the tune , it already has xforce exhaust and of course wastegate . $$$$ so guess im waiting a lil bit aha

Nice vid mate. Just FYI, the standard na and turbo fuel regs are different when boost pressure is applied. The turbo one is a rising rate reg which increases fuel pressure with boost. I’ve got a 12:1 rate on mine, standard injectors, ecu, fuel pump, engine etc but it’s the cross flow 250 with a std ea ecu. Made 351hp (ironic) at the treads with 9psi, C4 auto.

As you'll see by my profile photo thing I also have done turbo crossflow. I got 317hp 240kw . It went fine until I overheated it. Is getting rebuilt at the moment with forged rods and pistons, roller rockers, arp head, main and rod studs, gone to 1000cc injectors from 440cc's. Mls head gasket, few other goodies. There is a green one that full boost has covered on KZbin called mr250 making I think 430kw on 25psi or something so that is the current goal.
