The Turtle.

Turtles are magical creatures, even resin art turtles... There is something about the way they move, swift and effortless through the water that makes you want to see them again and again. I've only ever seen them a few times in the wild (sea turtles that is - I've seen stacks of freshwater dudes) but even I'm a little fixated. So no surprise that a sea turtle was one of our most requested templates.
Finding a view of a turtle to base a template on was another thing altogether though - It turns out that although they look graceful and swift as the glide along, every still that has ever been taken of one shows it to be awkward and static. Flippers pointing at weird angles, usually pointing away from camera or photographed from above, I searched for weeks to find a look I liked. Then it turns out there are so many colors of turtle that when a good pic did show up it was a color that most people wouldn't think was representative. In the end I did what I usually do and took a little artistic license to get a template that looks like the turtle is moving out of the frame, flippers nicely tucked and with the red and white shell that people want. And if you personally don't like the color i did this turtle then you can always do your template in a different color scheme.
