I don't suppose you'd be up for some benchmarking between tidyverse and data.table? I've found data.table is more terse and performant, but there have been a few places where it couldn't do what tidyverse could (I did a lot of searching to no avail).

I have also found data.table to have better performance when handling operations on large data sets over tidy verse. If I find something I don’t know how to do using data.table I'll usually go to chat gpt and get the solution.

Tune in for Thursday and Monday's episodes :) Teaser... df is far more performant than dt or tibbles. I think tibbles are far easier to use. Tradeoffs!
