I’m from Lake Arrowhead, CA!!! Love this. So cool to hear my little mountain town in something like this!

I agree, this episode is excellent at setting the stage. It is one of the most 'visual' for me. Might be the subject has a bit to so with this.

I wonder how those small aliens got that large balloon in that little ship? I sure could use a few good packers.😂

It took great acting and writing to make a radio based drama convincing . That's why I believe the talent in producing entertainment in the olden days was greater than it is now

What did he take a photo with that he could see the photos immediately except for a Polaroid? Or did they update these like they have cell phones?

Read in the description that these have been re-dramatized with today's celeb's and in modern times.

I don't understand why the trooper shot the monster. He had done them no harm except for moving the car. But it was put back. All they felt was fear. They believed the monster was as big as a mountain. So he could have harmed them anytime he wanted to but didn't. So why shoot him? Gun history in the US is a story of shoot first, ask questions later. What happened to conflict resolution and negotiation? Even today a lot of the pro gun people seem to believe in eliminating the problems with guns than trying to make friends.
