From what I could find, the cost of living is roughly 51% cheaper compared to the US. This was filmed in 2020, so it may have been different at that time before the global inflation.

i don't think as of right now they can afford to give that much money but you do have a point but like he said the cost of living is very cheap compared to the USA so they don't need the same because that would be overkill, just like how 20k in the USA isn't

@@mikegood4 If the cost of living is 51% of what it is in the US, then to be treated equally, they should get the equivalent of $10,000 US dollars which would be about 187,500 Rand.

@@mikegood4 You could get a lot more stuff for 20,000 dollars in the US than you could get for 75,000 Rand in Ghana. That’s all I’m saying.
