I'm curious... Why the large gear ratio? What RPM are you aiming for with the fans? Why not timing belt drive? The motor is clearly undersized. A motor with identical Kv but with twice the diameter would be a good place to start.

Belt drive is an option, the issue is you need a lower Kv for the torque needed to spin the fans. The tradeoff is rpms. The reason for the large gear was to test the two to one with less parts but more mass in order calculate the needed torque for a planetary gear, but with lees parts to print. So, the final setup will be planetary gears driving a belt equip with tensioners. Final ratio of three to one. Final Rpms per fan 29,970 on a 450 KV 22.2v motor on a 6000Mah 100c lipo.

Its why we test right. I learned a lot from this run for the mods and motor.

more mass

@@Chad-ww9gwyeah but these provide plenty of thrust, from my knowledge 24 lbs combined at the moment, and a small one would be more than feasible for the f22 he's planning to put these in

I think was around 20# for gen 1 these are 4x atm a gen one but we can't spin it fast enough I figure a lower rpm higher torque higher mass will let us lock it up with out smoking it and we gear it up to fix rpm issues thoughts suggestions??
