Well it looks like what was called a DA (ducks ass) here in the states. Name things what you want. but there are really only a few haircuts with different styling options.

That's exactly what I was seeing....it's the ducktail, except he did it downward, whereas the d t goes up. I got one ...ONCE! Uggh.

God grief, the girl had pretty hair & he went & cut it off, & then continued on to make the ugliest hairstyle known to man. God, could it get any uglier? Short hair is SO unattractive. Absolutely, God awful those styles way back then.............

There was not very much air conditioning (cooling) then, so short cuts were IN. Ducktail was IN. When The Beatles came in Feb 1964 hair got much longer! Dresses got much shorter. Best times. Very fun.
