This is sooo pretty!! But bobby pins are the absolute bane of my existence..I was born without the bobby pin function gene. I can't pick them up from a flat surface. I can't open them without them slingshotting out of my hand--Or bending them into an 'X' shape. If I ever manage to get one in my hair, it's like a waiting game to see how long they stay in. Sometimes they are too loose and won't hold my hair at all. Other times they are stuck in REALLY good but randomly come flying out of my head like a dart! So I have to use so many bobby pins to get my hair to stay in place that it looks like I am wearing a metal hair net. It's so sad :(

Hi, I really love this tutorial! What would you recommend to maintain the volume of the twists, because I have fine hair? I find that whenever I try something like this, it either exposes my scalp or loses its volume after an hour. :(
