I was the head technician for two bit in Los Angeles, they asked me about going to Texas. I laughed and said that's a bad choice. Texas has a lot of big arcades, you will be eaten alive. I see they did

Kid, DFW is eat up with entertainment. A hard nickel to scrape. But I applied to 2BC Dallas for a gig… twice. Never heard back. Whew😂😂😂

The two words that should scare anyone thinking of incorporating or taking on private equity partners: fiduciary responsibility. All those decisions Kelsie mentioned that were made to enhance the experience and not maximize profits become a lot harder to make once you have external shareholders to answer to--in a way, they become more important than your customers or your employees, and if they want profit /now/, you are obligated to give it to them now, even if it burns the business down in the long term. I hope Corey & co continues to turn down the easy money so they can continue to focus on quality (and I hope they get rewarded by doing better than breaking even in the process, heh).
