It's a lovely place I came when I was 23 and still coming back came for my stag do 13 years ago now coming with my family we love Magaluf and palmar nova love it. It feels I'm always saying what u do how nice it is and not as bad as people think. Lovely vlog again

I'm so happy to see this video!! I took my now 16 year old daughter here for a surprise 16th birthday gift . Was extremely dubious because of the "reputation" !! Let me tell you this. It's one of the best resorts I've ever been to. It would suit ANY age. There are loads of chilled bars and restaurants everywhere. The beach front area is Amazing. Relaxing vibe. We walked up and down The strip at 11ish and it was fine, no wild crowds.... I get that it probably livens up after midnight, but I was in my bed! By that time. Great resort for families with teen's, as it's a bit grown up,.. show them what to expect, when they come out at 18 !!

Hi Vanessa, this is a great comment and fantastic to hear you've had this experience. I didn't feel threatened and I didn't get hassled during making the video. The atmosphere is absolutely a lot calmer than many nights out in the UK! Good mix of everything for all the people it caters for!

Agree with that Vanessa, it would be definitely a gamble bringing your under age out there but good for them to see what it’s actually like while you’re there with them. Magalluf is an amazing resort, I’m missing it now big time

Just had 7 days here, got back last Sunday (4th) and was sorry to leave. Great atmosphere at night & plenty of chilling out, watersports, great restaurants and bars. Fantastic place for all ages

3:13 - Alex's Indie Bar. Went there every night of a 14 night holiday in 2007 and did the same (but for 5 nights) this past June. Incredible stuff. Also, there wasn't any trouble whatsoever when I was there. Didn't witness a thing. All I'd say is don't leave your phone out on any tables. Keep it in your pocket (or bag IF it's literally attached to you and in sight - so not dangling behind you) and you'll be fine.

Busy place, you can walk about at 9 and 10 at night, then 11 onwards , BOOM BOOM, busy place , it’s really nice down by the beach, so relaxing . That ice cream 🍦 shop looked tempting Alex, I’m sure you went back there after filming . 😂😂😂🍦🍦🍦

I came back from Palma Nova about ten days ago. I had a good time staying at the Cala Blanca hotel and singing at Monroe's in the evenings. - The Viking bar in Torrenova seems to change its name every few years. It was originally The King's Arms, then it became Det Glada Hörnet (The Happy Corner), and now The Viking. Leo's Pub will probably never change even though Leo died years ago.

Great video. The beach front is becoming really upmarket and so nice these days. I first visited Magaluf on a stag do in 2010 and after becoming a father in 2012 I have visited Palma Nova three times including earlier this month. We always visit the Magaluf strip (usually before 9pm) with our little girl, who's now nearly 10, for old times sake really but to enjoy seeing the youngsters out, mind you before 9pm it's fairly quiet. My daughter loves the Ale Hop shop at the bottom. I've crawled up the strip in 2010 pretty much, pushed a pram up it in 2014 and this year cycled up it and ran up it early morning. How times have changed for me haha.

Haha, that's a great comment!!! Magaluf though has something for all generations and it was great to see kids out. I take my daugther to Blackbeards which she loves. And lol don't mention Alehop! Can't get past there without going in. And in quite a few decades, don't forget it's flat enough for mobility scooters too!

A few places were/are closed around the Bahia de Palma due to the 'Mr Mallorca', (Bartolomé Cursach), corruption trial. I'm too old for Magaluf now 😥, (I remember it when it was just a few hotels), but it's important to get things into perspective. The vast majority of visits are trouble-free. Sadly, it's become British Tabloid fodder. If you believed all the negative hype in the tabloids, you'd never go for a night out in any British city centre. Nice video.

If you can't get to Magaluf, just dress as you would if you could have been there. 🤪 My favourite story regarding 'dangerous' cities was from the so-called 'MADchester' era in Manchester. A London tabloid journo had to go to Manchester to cover a story circa mid-'90s. Because of the overblown contemporary news coverage of the place, she demanded that a security firm meet her at the train door, and usher her to where she needed to be, as if she was visiting Baghdad in 2010! 🤣 What's that old saying? "Is that true, or did you hear it on the BBC?" 🤣

I've been living on the island for 17 years and in honesty I have been to Magaluf 4 times only. I am glad to see things have improved but it has just never appealed to me . Good content though 👍

Hi Sahil, the official end of the season is on the 31 October, so most places will be closing down. I'll be down that way soon so see what is staying open. Otherwise, if you''re looking for night clubs, then your better bet would be in Palma in the city.

It’s hard to make a video about what a resort is like every night or on many different nights. But this was what I saw on the one night that I was there. I appreciate every night is different but I wanted to show that there are families with kids out too (which there are) and it’s not all about Brit tourists drinking or flighting because it’s not. Everyday is different. This was one reflection.
