I’m so happy you talked about property taxes. I’ve lived here for 24 years and that has been my biggest beef with Texas. You will pay property taxes until you die in Texas. It’s ridiculous and way too much. I’d rather have a state income tax so I could actually own my home one day. In Texas you will never own your home. The state owns it. It’s bull and it makes me angry that people don’t get as pissed as I do about it.

Excellent video. What about crime? On Fox News took Austin Police Department two and a half hours to show up to a drunk driver accident. Austin is 500 Police Officers short and it is up to the citizens to protect themselves!

Homelessness, cost of living and property taxes are just part of the equation. He makes it sound like someone dropped a bomb on the city. The city deals with all of these things in a productive way.
