The scams of OnePlus started right after Carl Pei left the company. I had a great experience with my Oneplus 6 for 3 years. Though the camera was below average, I still loved every bit of my experience with the phone's performance. When I saved enough money to upgrade to Oneplus 9/9 Pro in 2021, the company pulled out a scam by bricking their older Oneplus devices to boost up their 9 series sales. Many phones including mine got bricked after Android 11 update and it was irreversible. The brand asked me to pay 17k for motherboard replacement. Thats when I bought iPhone 12 in the BBD sale since it was the only gettable option. Fast forward to 2024, I don't trust Oneplus anymore and never going to opt that brand ever again.

@@somesssh22 To be honest, when I first bought it, I wasn’t a fan. I bought it because it was a good product that ticked what I wanted. I became a fan of it while experiencing it. Until Carl Pei was associated with Oneplus, the brand was truly innovative. The OG Oxygen OS experience was just something else. But right now, many things changed. The company just scams their consumers with half baked specs, bricking old devices through updates and their fans, the current ones are just blindsided by the brand thinking that its the same OG Oneplus of the past they once used to think about.

I have been using 12R for the past 2 weeks. I am getting a mindblowing 10-12 hours of SCREEN ON TIME. It can run Call of duty at 120hz without heating. HIGHEST IT GOT TO IS 42°C. Genshin Impact at 60hz with smooth performance and no frame drops. Both games tested and played for 1 hour. The display is 10/10, and the camera is very good as well. Don't listen to these youtubers, in real world usage UFS 4 or 3.1 DOES NOT MATTER. I came from Xiaomi 11i and if your budget is 40k GO FOR THIS PHONE WITHOUT QUESTION. Also i am getting 1.5Million on Antutu with performance mode on.

OnePlus is not a bad company Yes they somewhat lied about ufs storage which might have happened due to miscommunication as Chinese variant had 4.0 but Indian varient did not Now about this phone let's be real do you wanna trust iqoo which has had issues with software,heating and motherboard before?
