The UK is broke. Spending needs to be cut at least 30%, time limits need to be introduced on claiming welfare. Many thousand of Civil Servant's need sacking. Public staff pensions need to be the same as the rest of us, why should we pay tax for their pensions which are much better than ours. 50% MPs need to be sacked and at least 50% of the House of Lords. All Foreign Aid needs to stop. Then cut taxes for business and encourage real inward investment which will never happen with high taxes. We will then start to get some real growth. Since 2008 we have been wttnessing the largest transfer of the public wealth into the hands of the already wealthy. When Starmer said "things are going to get worse before they get better", what he meant was "we have to let the DEI hire have a go before we can get someone qualified to step in and Man-splain it to her". IF they are able to pull it back (just reverse every financial decision/commitment they've made), they will quickly brag about Starmers genius plan to plug the Tory black-hole and hope we forget that we're now about as financially secure as Somalia.

That's not surprising given the basic economic strategy of Labour is 'spend everyone else's money on people we favour'.

The black hole hasnt been proven. However we are down about 2.7 trillion because we never recovered from the 2008 financial crisis when Labour were in power!

a minor increase in GDP while having a massive increase in population only means a increase in wealth for the super rich

Trump was, is an entrepreneur before he became president, whereas Kier Starmer was a lawyer. That’s the problem with Britains politicians, they have no idea about how to make money which is why we see negative growth in the U.K.
