They had so much shit to catch up with, that they focusing on the country economy, but have to leave out investments in things such as sports, culture etc. Of course it's not so black & white as corruption is still so fucking strong there it's painful to see. There’s no way you’d want to come back to the UK. I have a prescription. Was arrested with my meds on me after my grandmother's funeral. Taken to the cells and was strip searched on front of 8 officers to prove I didn't have ANY MORE ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES ON ME. I have CPTSD, extreme anxiety, depression and physical issues, and ended up flipping, I was massively triggered by THEM. Was put in blue paper shorts and shirt and stuck In a cell for the night. I left in 2013. I've been bouncing about Thailand and it's awesome. Being a nomad means you don't have to pay tax. I have to do 4 months of work in Dubai in the year. The rest, I mainly stay in Thailand but have to do a visa run now and again. Totally worth it. Paradise, weed and amazing food, plus it's affordable.

It's heartbreaking the way this country is declining rapidly. A few nights ago I was sitting thinking to myself about how different life is nowadays, and what it's going to be like in the near future, next thing I know i'm in tears, a grown man crying. Next thing I know, I realise it's morning and I have sat there all night ( felt like 30 minutes ). There was once a time when I was proud to call myself British, loved my country, loved the people in it. I live in a wee fishing village in Scotland, luckily, it hasn't got too bad here yet, but it's coming, and it's going to come fast.
