I can't be the only one, so perhaps Knox is just similar and just likes to learn and have a lot of knowledge on various topics.. I imagine it helps with his writing abilities as a rapper too. He seems like a very well versed person in the way he speaks.. So I'd also believe that he knew it without having to look it up.
