Guys how do you use audio for a adventage in chase vs a killer and why let go of shift when droping pallet

When not in chase(no chase music) you can listen to the heartbeat to determine if the killer is coming closer. Honestly letting go of shift when dropping pallet i have no idea. This way you start to lose chase a bit earlier if you play the pallet afterwards but I don't think this does anything if you decide to keep running.

From what I've learned letting go of shift before dropping just reduces ur hotbox so u don't get hit through the pallet It also breaks chase earlier just as u said ​@@COMPDBD

​@COMPDBD you can lose a second of exhaustion doing that, also while vaulting windows. A second might not seem like a lot but if you vault pallets and vaults about 10 times in a 1v1, then you get a fourth of your lithe back

The letting go of shift when dropping pallet is to make sure the prompt to drop it doesn't disappear, because if you come running to a pallet the game thinks you're gonna drop the pallet from the other side, and then the prompt doesn't appear

Can anyone describe what the killer was supposed to do at 1:20 and why? Seems like the killer could zone him to shack pallet or shack window but why does that really matter either way?

My best guess is that, it's more favorable to push him towards shack as it has less options for pallets after he drops shack. In the video the killer doesn't push him towards shack so he gets the "god filler" and Xeno now has access to run to the other side of the map towards main if he wants to. Remember that in that run the Shack was connected to 1 filler and a hill.

Actually its better educational content when the killer/survivor doesnt know how to play the loop, because thats what most pub players are versing anyways. If you teach ppl how to play vs people that know how to play, they won't know how to "counter" pub players xd
