I have been thinking exactly that lately. That's because artists back then were actually creating original well though-off music. I have been listening to a lot of rawstyle lately since it has become trendy and I can't help but think that it is MILES away from the quality we had with millennium hardcore. I miss those days sometimes. I must say though that I have been hearing some really good hardcore this past years from artists like the melodysts and n-vitral, and that's pretty much it now that i think about it. We need new artists like nosferatu and amnesys, those were the days

Westerners almost don't do it anymore except Korsakoff, Re-Style, NeoX, Tha Playah... and Angerfist when he wants. Nah the real shit now is 6th, Sho--nan, Kortarow, Roughsketch, check all CDs from Login Records, Illegal Wave and Hardcore Armements reloaded if your favorite era is something like 2007-2013, both main and Enzyme style, no wonder Ophidian is getting involved into the japanese scene.
