Mine flys great but I'm having an issue with the video dropping out. Not sure if it the camera losing power or the wires not properly connected.

Common problem on analog systems in general. Could be camera, vtx, some combination of both. Could also be on the receiver side. Has anything in your setup changed recently? Are you sure you have the VTX on the correct frequency? A lot of times it's not tuned to the correct frequency that matches the receiver.

I basically built one of these befor they came out. I'm using the Emuflight preset that most matches it and Emax 3.5" props. It fly's amazingly. Certainly not getting the oscillation at full throttle

I think he said it might depend on the build and how tight the flight controller is mounted against the battery strap. Perhaps your build is not that tight.

Please, I have the same drone but I have an issue with VTX. Every time I change the battery I have to dismount the canopy and press the button 2 times in order to deactivate pitmode because is automatically activate when plug a lipo. And betaflight and the OSD are correctly configurated. Someone knows what´s going on here??

Disable Pitmode on the VTX page of Betaflight configurator and save your changes then power cycle everything.

@@AlbertKimTV Thanks for the answer. I tried that before and didn't work. When I enable or disable Pitmode on the VTX page and I save, always comeback to Pitmode disable. As son as I put the enable button and go to save, automatically returns to gray and not active. Anyway, while I have the Drone conected to the computer and I press the physical bottom of the VTX two tomes to deactivate Pitmode, the changes keep and I can connect and disconect batteries without returning to Pitmode, BUT as soon as I unplug wire from PC and desconect battery then goes to Pitmode. It is like If VTX needed a source of power connected at least (PC via USB in this case) or changes made wont safe... sooo weird!!!!!

@@AlbertKimTV Thank you for the advice. I found the problem. It was on the OSD. RACE was activated, and when I put FREE then Pitmode is disabled as required. But the problem is each time I change the batery OSD goes to RACE again, no matter how many times I put on FREE it comes back to RACE after connecting a lipo. Why wont Save the state?? I Save and Exit and Save and Reboot but no real Save of the modifications... At least I don't have to dismount the canopy each time...

I’ve got an off topic question, I have a new Roma F1. For the life of me I can’t get the vtx to unlock. In smart audio it does nothing, in betaflight change off of power 1 results in a 0 power when saved. Have followed diatones directions, (press and hold THE button for 5 seconds) but they leave something to be desired! Hoping it’s something you’ve run into before. Thanks for any insight.

I assume you held the power button down while powering on? If not, try that. If you did do that, you'll have to contact Diatone support for further help as that worked for me.

this one is an alternative to the HGLRC Petrel 120X Pro (3 inch 4s, 1404 motors, 86g). Any preference or recommendation for my next purchase ?

The Petrel has 1303.5 motors and only a 3-inch prop so performance on the TWIG will be better compared to that.

I always take many quads out with me every day. Also, my daily drivers change over time as new models come out. I don't stick with just one model all the time. I'll fly something for a few months and move on. I do keep certain classic models around for reference and comparison however and fly them again to see how things have progressed over time. I doubt there is anyone else in FPV that has flown as many different models as I have. I want to fly everything so I can have an idea how everything compares.

Racer X team pilot here. This is a collaboration between BetaFPV and Racer X. This frame is a true X. The stretch and wide x's cannot fit 3.5" props. Another detail left out is the type of carbon. This is not the standard t300 carbon. This is made of t700 carbon. The difference between the prebuilt BetaFPV and the DiY Racer X kit is the canopy. The Racer X kit has a TPU canopy.

3.5" form seems better than 3" or 4" and remains under 250gr. This one is really screamer. I prefer all racers that have decent power with 4s 650mah battery. One of best is Diatone L3 with stronger motor.

I have heard good things about their express LRS stuff , (besides the capacitor thing) I bought a BNF that I landed on a pillow (literally), and smoked. So long story short I had to email with them for a month and a half about it. They ended up giving me 50 percent off of motors and an AIO , but to get to that point there must of been 30+ emails. It was a while ago when I first started building, and didn't have much experience. It just really put a bad taste in my mouth with them...If it makes any difference to you , I feel the same about Iflight's electronics....
