Yesterday I played 1 ranked, after 1 round one teamm8 left, he was the only smoker in a team. Game ended 9-13 and I was 26/15/9, MVP of a match and I got demoted. Before that match I was on 3 win streak but somehow I got demoted. I have no idea what happened and it completely discouraged me from trying to get to plat and playing the game in general

That’s just a bug don’t worry, your mmr is pretty much the same it’s just the image rank going down after 1 loss. When riot fixes it after 1 win your image rank will go back to normal

If you’re trying to get people to listen to you, don’t point out that you’re top fragging, that’ll just get you called insults and further tilt the people you’re playing with. Just try to humanize yourself and talk often, only mention strats and try your best to coordinate with them. Honestly if you can’t even get like 45fps, it’s not worth playing. Just save up a bit and spend a little time researching. Even a $500 pc will be fine, or if you have one already you can likely just upgrade some of the components and keep others to save a bit of money. Just do your research

The best advice for me is to focus your attention somewhere else when youre tilted sometimes you feel tilted even when you win the game because you feel like you couldve done so much better if youre tilted do play other games do something else for a few mins or an hour if you feel better play again it will clear your mind and make you play better overall because youre no longer thinking of your lost game like you had a mental reset. This worked well for me when I was playing league I cant stand ending a day with a lost game so I try to get wins just to lose 5 straight and win 1 so it tilts me even more.

I remember i was playing rank and i wasnt in my greatest shape, but we had a great teammate that really can aim. What I did is just being useful cause I’m playing Sova so i was able to provide intel for the team. In the end we won 🙂

Good video but I have to disagree on the first point:" focus on aiming first then learn agent abilities ". My stats: > Closed Beta: Silver 1 > Act 1: Plat 1 > Act2: Gold 1 > Sova/Omen Main since Closed Beta I play this game since the start of closed beta (April 7th) and what I learned first (in normal games) is using my abilities, as for example with Sova and Omen, then after Closed Beta ended after 1 month I started to train my aim. Yes, I have a long way to go when it comes to aiming because I am a 27-year-old Boomer but in my opinion, abilities are more crucial than aim especially when you have agents like "Sage" not placing a wall and instead go for a kill then die and scream like a kid: "I MADE A KILL I WAS USEFUL". No sorry, you are not, you are a healer/support who died first, sure you traded 1vs1 but why should you do that on DEFENSE? So I'm not saying aiming is not crucial in this game but I saw even low Diamond players who are not using abilities at all and this is kinda sad because yea maybe they will out aim lower ELO players but they will also sometimes outplay you just because of understanding abilities better. The best example, go watch the video where Pro's tried to play vs the developers in Closed Beta. They were completely destroyed just because of game knowledge and ABILITIES. Only after a rematch and weeks later the Pro's understood that if you are bad with abilities you will be outplayed, even if your aim is godlike. My experience in lower ELO (under Gold1): Try to find a good Sova, Sage, Omen. It's nearly impossible. What I did on my second account is just play Omen in Solo Q and focus on myself, my aim is/was definitely not as good as a 15-year-old, but people do not listen to sounds in this game (especially in low ELO) so I could move with Omen wherever I wanted and won a lot of rounds/games for my team just by playing my agent way better than everyone else. Got to Gold 2 even faster with my second account than with my main.

Learning abilities, maps, and recoils is pretty standard for most games. The stop to shoot is difficult to get used to. I have the biggest problem with the slow walking that is COMPLETELY silent. That’s some bullshit.

objective is always more important than kills. top fragger isnt always the one contributing the most to the team. go in first, get kills that contribute to taking a site instead of picks, work with teammates.

One of the reason why free-falling in ranked is because the matchmaking decides to put Irons/Unrankeds in the same team. Duo-queuing in ranked at Gold seems to attract players like these for some reason. Not all irons or unranked are bad. Just the ones who are REALLY bad. It’s just so hard to carry the team when they die so fast or give away the position. Don’t even mention those teammates who DC. Let the rank free fall further I guess

You might want to play overwatch, as a secondary option. As far as I know, in OW the aiming is easier as movement doesn't decrease accuracy and abilities are more relevant, I think (haven't played it)

its BS the want 6 Heros on one year, the should make more maps and forget the heros. One every Year is enough, it destroy the hole Meta and most of the times there are more bugs. Better the making 4 new maps that we have 8, and when some maps need rework the change it to some other finish and do it like csgo and upgrade the map pool while rework the map. This is boring playing 20 times bind and 1 time haven... i have no problem btw that the remove killjoy first from the tournament its a good idea and thats the reason why i say no new heros more new maps and focus on polish the game more and more.

Iron3 over here too , I usually prefer playing a cypher in my games but i mostly play Sage in comp. just because it’s a very important role and i see a lot of of Sages playing aggressively and dying at the beginning, though i must say if you have a terrible team of duelist hiding forever it can get pretty frustrating as a sage

Also i think some sages hate to use it because it gives the enemies your location, I personally tend to use it usually on people who died in a safe place or if i’m going to put myself in danger then i’ll use it on probably our mvp so he can back me up

Well, the most you can do is recommend they get mics. There are people that are uncomfortable with using mics as well. But then again, they most likely shouldn’t be playing comp if it’s like that. But in the end of the day, you can’t do anything about them not using mics except for watching the text chat if anyone is saying stuff there instead.

My solution is not to lock in at character select unless at least 3 other players respond to me asking if we have mics in the group. If they don't respond then I just ask and requeue/repeat until I get people with mics.

problem is i am worthy of gold 2 ish but accidentally went into a game when my crush wanted to play on my setup a 0 and 22 loss later i am bronze 2 and i have teammates that are halfwits and have noone to play with i can't solo carry

Aha, Proguides in the title: Win, loss, win loss, we've all been there. My current act II: Loss, loss, loss, loss, loss, loss, loss. I CANT WIIIIIN REE. I dont get why, i do well but i just straight up cant win, I'm cursed :( Not surprised though, I've had curses like this in so many games... Edit: I was plat 3 before end of Act I, now gold 3 due to me having lost every game since Act II started. Sad thing is I'm playing with my Diamond 1-3 mates, and quite a few times I'm 2nd or 3rd best on our team, but straight up just cant win lol. Overall a sh*t season so far
