Both cases are good. Personally, I prefer the Y70 more. The reason is that is has better cooling and is also more suitable for maintenance. Moreover, it also supports an LCD installation on the front. Hope this helps!

No, the fans are Lian Li TL and were purchased separately. You can find the 4080S by searching for "Founders Edition"

The Lian Li Unifan uses the L-Connect programme. Once all connectors are properly connected, you can select presets or customize settings using it. Anyway, It's very straightforward👍

How did you connect both controllers (AIO and 3pack) since you need three usb connections? I only have two on the same motherboard.

The TL fans can use four ports on a single controller. I used three ports, one each for AIO, rear, and side fans. Hope this helps💜🖤

The bottom fans can only be installed inside. Therefore, the RGB effect might not be noticible.

SL-INF 계열로 가시면, 말씀해 주신 조합도 괜찮고, 만약 TL로 가겠다면 최근 출시한 HydroShift TL 버전 추천해 드립니다. 성능은 유사하지만, HydroShift가 높은 펌프 RPM에서도 소음이 낮은 편입니다. 지금 메인 PC에 사용 중이고, 만족스럽습니다. (저는 360S 버전이에요. 올블랙 좋아해서 ㅎㅎ)

Noob question but shouldn't the bottom fans be exhaust fans and not intake fans? Why draw dusty air in through the bottom? Just exhaust warm GPU air out of the case instead, no?

In general, since hot air rises, it's more efficient to have bottom intake and top exhaust. It's similar to a chimney effect. Of course, it's not a 100% correct way for everybody. However, for the purpose of directing airflow, if the bottom is considered for exhaust, it's better to have intake at the top. Hope this helps!

@@SNAPSHOTREVIEW Thank you! It may be completely wrong that I'm thinking this way, but if we draw air in through the front, why not draw air in through the top, too? That's because those are the two most unobstructed panels of where to draw air from (not including cases that have fans on the side panel). Also, the back of the case has I/O and wires obstructing air flow. So, maybe it's best that intake fans be placed at the top and front and then the air should be exhausted out through the back and bottom.

Generally, "push" refers to pushing air through the radiator, meaning it’s pushing air out. Typically, this is used for exhaust.

How did you connect aio 3 fans and back fan to same controller? It comes with two controllers and I’ll be out of usb if I try to connect both

I used one USB port for the AIO, and all the other fans are connected dto the L-Connect 3 controller. Therefore, two USB ports are sufficient.

There aren't any specific guidelines, but I think focusing on the balance of intake and exhaust, as well as the direction of airflow, should be sufficient.

I was building my first pc for the o11 vision till I saw this vid and switched parts to basically copy you! Completely changed my rgb obsessed view. I am putting it together now and have hit a snag. How do you control the AIO fans and the case fans on the same controller? I thought the radiator fans needed to go in the CPU fan header but the connector is wrong as I switched the fans like you did and so they only have a 7 pin connector. Am thinking I will have to use a separate hub with the AIO fan to connect to the CPU fan header with the case fan hub into a sys fan header. The alternative would be to use the single hub and have all fans tied to the CPU temp or the case temp but not both. FYI I am pretty clueless about this stuff and have been on KZbin and google for 3hrs trying to puzzle it out so I may be wrong about a few things! Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hope you've resolved this issue but if not... please check 04:50 first! The pump PWM connector is simply to send information to the motherboard. Lian Li stuff are controlled using their controller and managed through L-CONNECT3. If you're using fans from the same TL series as mine, you can control them with the single TL controller and you need to use L-CONNECT 3. If you're using different Lian Li fans, you will have to use the controller for those fans.

Appreciate the response. Haven’t yet finished this as don’t have a lot of time during week but will finish it tomorrow. Ok so I don’t need MB control as L connect can manage the fans separately - good to know. Luckily I even copied your choice in fans so all are TL and can connect to same hub. Cheers
