I went on this ride countless times with family and friends. It was the most intense rollercoaster I've ever been on, I ended up with a headache and bruises everytime but I wouldn't change it for the World. I will miss it. Thank you for making this video.

Beautiful capture. The ending as you release the restraints, symbolises exiting the ride for the very last time. Sad ending for all of us.

Thanks very much, I appreciate it. They've already removed the trains now, and a lot of track bolts and screws have been removed. It's only a matter of time until it's gone sadly. Very depressing, a legend lost.

A completely unique roller coaster which followed the shape of the landscape and once held the record for longest roller coaster in the world, still held the European record. Sad times Brighton Pier Group are running the place into the ground

I live 4 miles away from LWV. Prime site housing development land. I believe they’re trying to make LWV unsustainable before submitting planning applications. Could be worth £200 million for the land…

Built by British rail, notice the wooden track sleepers. Some of which were reused from the railway.

Yup, most of the layout is wooden sleepers. Some of them bounce up and down in the ground! :D

Unfortunately not, it looks like someones removed that a while ago. Maybe a staff member took it as a souvenir when the ride closed down.

The Ultimate was an amazing ride. Lightwater Valley are making a big mistake closing the thrill rides and catering only for young children. Have they not learned from Camelot and American Adventure.
