Most information is good. Depending on the Con, I would change the order of your priority. For the big conventions, you need to get your ticket first. Most will NOT sell tickets at the door. San Diego sells out months ahead of time. New York takes a little longer, but fri/sat/sun will sell out before the convention.

So how do you get a badge and when do the con hotels go on sale? It's different from other cons.
