I LOVE the Ezekiel cereals! I make a bowl with 1 serving of Ezekiel cereal, 1/4 c. Rolled oats, 1 Tbsp hemp seeds, 1 Tbsp chopped almonds, a small handful of raisins, 1 sliced ripe banana, and unsweetened almond milk. The raisins and banana provide some sweetness without the added refined sugars. YUM!!!

Ezkiel is what my hubby eats. We were standing at the organic cereal aisle, overwhelmed, and a little old lady customer at the supermarket recommended it to us years ago.

I buy the grain free granola, Purely Elizabeth or Grandyoats, and mix it with the Ezekiel cereal to cut the amount of sugar and the granola gives the Ezekiel cereal some added flavor. Win win

I'm excited to try it since it has less sugar. I keep trying to find a non dairy milk but I can't stand the taste of them. I tried and loved the original nut pods creamer and it says it's made with coconut cream and almonds. But I can't stand the milk made from almonds or coconut. It's odd. The best one was So Delicious Coconut Milk. But I tried it with Lakanto Drinking Chocolate powder and no thank you. Tried it over cereals and was disgusted. Maybe because it is watered down coconut milk, idk

SA Kim I’m sorry to hear that you are diabetic and allergic to soy. Soy and corn are two of the most genetically modified foods (and heavily subsidized by the U.S. government). Good luck with your battle with diabetes and here’s to eating healthier!

You completely forgot about Pancake mixes for making pancakes and waffles! I saw your coffee video, but that you left out 4 very good brands of coffee, that which are my 4 favorites! Don Francisco-Gavina, Pete's coffee, Seattle's Best and Starbucks, all of that which you can buy in the wole bean format, if I'm not mistaken. I agree brands just like folgers and Maxwell House, are definitely 2 different brands, that used to be good back in the day. But not anymore. Folgers for example, is a brand you will see in church food closets, as well as Maxwell House. In fact, that when care homes/ group homes that which take care of some people with disabilities cannot eat solid food, that the empty Folgers and Maxwell House coffee containers are used to hold a white powder called THICKIT!

Hi Bobby! I'm wondering if you can clear this up for me: you've recommended products with expeller-pressed plant oils before, but I've noticed that recently, you're not recommending them. I do understand that there are better oils, like olive, coconut, or avocado, but why has your recommendation on expeller-pressed changed? I took a brief look through scholarly articles, but I can't find any recent changes. Thanks!
@thebestthingthatneverhappe67294 жыл бұрын
in deep nutrition by Dr cate Shanahan she discusses expeller pressed and what it means. there is an article on her website. basically it just means the first step is mechanical extraction. it doesn't mean it doesn't go.through other steps drcate.com/list-of-good-fats-and-oils-versus-bad/

Simply because they are more inflammatory than other oils , even they are expeller pressed but still rich in omega 6 fatty acids which is highly inflammatory to our bodies and can rise the insuline resistance! Instead we have to consume grass fed butter, avocado oil, coconut oil or olive oil !
