Looks sweet! Do you have a minimum gpp when it comes to arrows? Is 8gpp to light for production bows ?
@greatplainsbow Жыл бұрын
We recommend 10gpp arrows

Funny i have two oneidas but i use them for regular hunting, not bowfishing. I don't like the way fish taste so I've never wanted to get into bowfishing. I'm surprised insert bushings don't get glued in.

It depends on what kind you use. On these particular inserts they are compression fit with a mechanical lock. Glue wouldn't make them much stronger plus because they are such a tight fit the glue would all squeeze out most likely get on the threads of the insert and definitely squeeze out onto the bow creating an extremely difficult problem of having to sand it off around the inserts. I glue all my threaded inserts in.

25 lbs is enough?
@greatplainsbow Жыл бұрын
Yep

You are shooting a 1200 grain arrow maybe 5 yards at a pretty soft small target. Being able to pull it back fast to snap shoot is more important than being able to blow through the fish, so i hear.

Josh didn’t trust himself with a high dollar bow out on the water. Looks like we all have our own trust issues haha
