21:55 Recently in Vietnam the police night raided an illegal gambling party inside jungle. Some gamblers managed to ran away, cash and stuff scattered all over the area. A day later people living near the site went searching, hoping for leftover cash. Instead they found one of the escaped gamblers not too far from where he ran from, already dead with a tree branch pierced one of his eye and into the skull. The poor idiot fled the police in total darkness of the jungle and stumbled upon his death in a way people only seen before in movies. There are so many horrible ways to be maimed or die in the jungle.

Thank you for the simplicity. I have to make 6 of these bags and of course that could get expensive! So this set up is perfect! Also that small roll of gorilla tape? Held my window up in my car for 3 weeks through cold and rain. (The regulator broke and I had to wait to fix) that stuff is amazing!

Not a bad kit. I would add a nesting cup for the water bottle. Takes almost no extra room and gives one more container if you’re only carrying the first 5 C’s. And if I’m never coming home (INCH), I’m taking a small axe or hatchet, or at least a good tomahawk. And my Spetznaz shovel. Two essential tools imho. 👍🏻👍🏻 I don’t sub that many channels, but you say you’re new, so I hit the subscribe button. I’ll follow and see how it goes. 👍🏻

I appreciate your stress on good footwear. In addition to good hiking boots, and depending on your environment or seasons, I would strongly recommend keeping a lightweight pair of sandals on your pack to protect your feet in water crossings while keeping your boots dry. They can also be a relief to wear casually after hiking when boots aren't needed around camp, etc. Also, in addition to cash, I like to keep a roll of quarters in my BOB or INCH. Heavy, but potentially very handy.

Don't forget that the mosquito net is a head ghillie, as well, for food procurement. I wouldn't use it for fish or tinder gathering, though, so it doesn't get holey and compromise it's primary function. I have modified a $5 Ozark Trail full tang knife with a metal file to turn it into a feather sticking beast by changing the grind angle to be more chisel like by filing on one side only. It is super sharp now, and I love it. It was useless until I modified it's grind, though. As I've noticed on other chanel discussions, a bar or more of hunters' scent remover soap would be a good add.

I enjoyed your video and your equipment recommendations. One note you should inform your viewers that using an amateur radio, like the BaoFeng UV-5R, without an Amateur Radio License is only legal during an emergency. Otherwise, you are required to have an Amateur Radio License to use it for non-emergency purposes. Like any tool you need to practice using the radio before you need to use it in an emergency.

I went to storage and got my hiking back pack out to make my emergency bag out of! Now, I think I've decided to keep inch supplies in the truck and keep the pack as an emergency bag to grab and go, in case of fire at the apt...I don't have a ton of survivalist gear, just versatile camping gear that I actually use. I need to get some more supplies like a fire kit, compass, etc for the truck gear portion. My problem is Organization. I'm great at gathering supplies, but shite at organization of said supplies! Kek. Like I have a compass, somewhere in storage, not in a kit where it should be and stowed properly where it would be most useful...Kek. I need a good bf/hubby to provide for and get me organized. 🤣

I may be double posting; what I was typing disappeared... anyway Just wanted to share a thought I had while watching this... I’m set to bug out first in my SUV for as long as necessary or possible. But what happens if staying in the vehicle or relying on it is no longer possible? I have a lot of stuff stowed away in the vehicle and my closet. I need to go back through and mark everything with red, yellow, or green. If I have to lighten my load then the green will go first. Unless I had no choice but to dump all the yellow, I’d probably carry what I could for as long as it was useful or I found it to be necessary. If worse came to worst I’d go as light as possible which would be the red. Red would be the Dave Canterbury 5 Cs. Now I have some work to keep my mind busy as quarantine & chaos continue. Bugging out seems more appealing every day. 🤷🏻‍♀️
