something to note every pokemon can have a move that damages them, "struggle" is a move that does damage but does recoil damage in return and is only accessible if your tormented or lose PP for all other moves so it would be a good idea to keep track of how much pp each move of a mon has at minimum and have a smoke ball on the pokemon you want to stall the legend or whatever your catching with so you can escape if the pokemon is about to run out of PP because if they do get to do a struggle there recoil damage WILL kill them.

Good video. I would add that Haxorus can also learn False Swipe as part of its natural move pool and that Foresight which can be learned naturally by Yanmega can allow Normal and Fighting moves to hit Ghost types (Even if Yanmega switches out.) and straight up removes the targets evasion stat. Meaning pokemon that have Minimize or double team and can wear down your False Swipe user with Poison or Burn even at lower levels, can still be hit with 100% Accuracy.

I personally really recommend using love balls for everything except legends because they increase the catch rate 8x if the pokemon you want to catch is diff gender

Yep! Only downside though is that the Pokemon you’re catching has to be the same species as your Pokemon as well, but it’s definitely a good one to use if you’re catching many of the same Pokemon :)

best mon for catching other mon is smeargle you will just need time or a friend to get the moveset sorted the move Sketch is what makes this mon so good for those who dont know Sketch is a move that copys the targets last used move and adds it to there moveset permantly Ability technician (boosts false swipe damage) false swipe (wont faint a mon) Spore (100% acc sleep status) Soak (turns the target into a water type this deals with ghost types you cant hit) entrainment (deals with mon that have abilitys that prevent soak and spore) so with a friend simply have them use the moves you are trying to get and simply sketch if you are playing alone you will need to hunt for more smeargle and use the move that you want on them so they can sketch then swap out and sketch it to your own smeargle i hope this infomation was helpful

When I play pixelmon I NEVER but NEVER come across a ULTIMATE boss pokemon, why ? Is it THAT rare because I really played a lot of pixelmon with my friend multiples times for years. Also I don't understand why most of the time I can't get legendary often, even while reducing their time to be spawnable again. Like I did a pixelmon serv but Lunala spawned 3 times already in the Bog biome even tho we didn't stay in a lot and were just passing by. Our base is at a plains where a legendary can spawn with even some stone beach and another biome a little further away with another legendary spawn but they NEVER SPAWNED ! In fact the only other Legendary I got is Deoxys when going to The End. So am I that unlucky ? Because I can't find anything about that, same for ultimate boss pokemon.

While I don’t know for certain, I’d say that it’s likely that both of those methods increase the chances of a regional form spawning. The regional forms are in the same pool to be chosen as a spawn for other Pokemon, so I’d imagine the lure and catch combo add to its weight in that pool :)

Thank for the guide man but I got a question, I've been trying to use breloom with Mind reader and false swipe and I heard you can use mind reader to look at wild pokemons ivs and I've been trying to see how I can use it but I have no clue how to check ivs of wild pokemon with mind reader

I just looked it up and apparently it is used as an external move (and can be used by Pokemon with Foresight as well). So sending out the Pokemon, pressing B, selecting the Analyze skill, and then pressing G while looking at the Pokemon whose IVs you want to look at should work. I hope this helps! :)

does the move "Soak" exist in pixelmon? if so it can be really usefull for catching ghost/rock/steel types, as it changes the target you use the move on typing to water

what’s the best way to initiate a battle with a pokémon that’s flying in the air because i’m usually chasing it on a pokémon so i can’t send out another one to start battle

Generally I’ll be chasing it on another flying Pokemon and throw out a different Pokemon towards where it will be when my Pokeball hits. Or if that doesn’t work, I’ll try to hover myself in front of it until it initiates combat, which doesn’t always work, but it’s an option. Overall, they can be pretty tricky to get lol. I hope this helps! :)

It just might be me and my luck but I've been searching for a shiny and have a 60 catch combo on and have been searching for 6 hours for 1. I did have a Shiny Lure on so I'm wondering if the Lure cancels out the time 12 rate or adds to it. Again it just might be my bad luck and I did get 4 max ivs but I just wanna know if the Lure cancels or adds onto the shiny rate.

Do you know if the catch combo shiny odds works when 2 people on.. im trying to hunt shiny buneary but i have hunted for over 4 hours and havent found it.. i legit think when there are 2 people on the shiny odds doesnt boost and stays at 1/4096 . When i was huntint roggenrola the first day i hunted when my friend was on for like 3 hours and nothing then next day i joined alone got the catch combo and found it in under an hour.. do you know if it works?

Personally, I just use Paint 3D on Windows lol. For the images of Pokemon in my thumbnails, I have a box of lime green concrete in a creative world and I use the chisel tool to create a statue of the Pokemon. From there I take a screenshot and use the magic select tool on Paint to make a sticker of the Pokes. Other than that, I just recommend playing around with different shapes and tools in whatever photo editing software you end up using. I wish you luck! :)

Gallade is better for catching Pokémon itself since it can learn false swipe and has good attack. Gardevoir is mostly used for its abilities; synchronize to get the nature you want, or trace to see what ability the Pokemon has.
