And interestingly modern javelin athletes throw them at ~70 miles per hour, and that's with hyper specialized lightweight javelins and rigorous training. Sure the Hunter is magic infused but so far they have not shown any special super strength(from other thrown weapons, items etc). It's just super overtuned in terms of velocity.

well gotta say crytek did an amazing job balancing the game , by nerfing the dumdum like it was ever needed haha and destroying the flash cus of 6 star try hard crying players , but got a brilliant idea to put a spear in the game that kills like that haha . Have just played a few games my self after that patch , not expirienced any rachta caveman so far haha :D will see how it will turn out soon I guess :D

Does so far no one realize, that you can skip throwing things in hunt just switiching to another weapon? Let's say Minute 1:16, RachtaZ holds the spear and throws it to get hands free. He could just tip one of the 1,2,3 buttons and it would skip the throwing into another weapon and you don't have to do the action to finish and end the whatever you are doing. Always see even the pros throwing things, instead of switching to another tool, weapon or whatever. Try it!

At least 2 things need to be changed about this spear. It should only 1 shot in the head and torso, instant kill with leg and hand hit is stupid. When you loot a dead hunter and get a spear, all the ones you throw in the environment should disappear to avoid exploit like this.

Ok, I agree spear is nuts, but I think the hivemind's solution of "make it a weapon" sucks all the fun out of the item. Like even if they turn it into a one slot its suddenly competeing with uppercut, officer, lematt, and dolch for its slot. Like yes nerf spear but make the kill require bodytap and revert the tool nerf or just nerf spear vs bosses.
