E-cvt is very different from conventional CVT... Conventional CVT transmission uses belt that run between two conical pulleys, while e-CVT is a non belt gearbox with single gear that allows two power inputs (engine or electric moter-MG2 moter) to run the car. So speed of a car is determine by engine speed/RPM and not by gear ratio changing.. so this is why these hybrid cars make engine noises at higher speed because engine rpm is not compensated by gear ratio changing.. also hybrid cars tend to have worse gas mileage at high way because of the way how hybrid car is designed... At high way speed the engine will be always on and battery will always be low, and regenerative braking system will be less working because of less application of brakes, this makes hybrid car to be less fuel efficient at higher speed. It being light it is for fuel efficiency This car also comes with adaptive cruise control.. so ungeelezea uzuri wa adaptive cruise control The other thing ungeelezea maintenance ya hybrid car... Na namna ya kuishi nayo. (Living with hybrid car si sawa na regular car.. kuna namna ya ku service battery kuhakikisha haifi kutokana na joto.. Something to remember, with hybrid cars, the mechanic person who is to work on these cars should real know what he is doing(qualified one who know how to work on hybrid electrical systems), the average mechanic person can't work on them unless it is for oil changing.. hapa Tanzania wengi wana-ziharibu. Kwa wale wa Tanzania wanaotaka ushauri wa magari, service piga +255763503046. Also Erick, can i get your contacts if you don't mind..

Thanks bother. Things to add.. With hybrid cars it is good to know where is the hybrid battery (at the back seat) na what are things to avoid loading in car with hybrid battery at the back seat..vitu kama maji(items that are liquid) vinatakiwa viwe properly handled ili kusiwe na spilling out kwakua maji yakiingia ndan ya battery hufanya corrosion (hybrid battery are not water resistant) Pia avoid using 12v battery to jump start another non hybrid car, Avoid leaving gas tank door open for more than 30min...non compliance to this may be very dangerous for yo car..kumbuka kwakua hybrid car engine not always is on so gasoline vapor ventilation ya hizi gari ni tofaut na non hybrid car, where non hybrid car ipo na charcoal canister kwa ajili ya catching of fuel vapor from the gas tank na kupeleka hizo vapour to engine kua burnt, but for hybrid it is different the mechanisms for handling fuel vapor ventilation. What kills hybrid battery ni joto, sasa hybris cars zipo na dedicated fan for cooling hybrid batteries, sasa hii fan huwa na filter, filter tends to clog and limit airflow, so with limited air flow inasababisha cooling efficiency inapungua na kusababisha over heating of hybrid battery and premature failure of hybrid battery.
@tanzaniacarschannel69753 жыл бұрын
@@CARNVERSATIONS Also what you were referring as hybrid battery was actually an electric power management module, where you will find inverter that amplify dc voltages to three phase electricity to power motor and electric ac compressor.. also in that module there is dc to dc converter that steps down higher dc voltages to 12 voltages required by various car systems like radio, lights, wipers, power window, central lock system, fuel pump also to charge a small 12 v battery as these cars don't have regular alternator. Thanks for sharing your contact with me.

Thanks Erick this is quite educative. Was considering upgrading and this was my choice (non-hybrid). Feeling a bit hesitant because of the clearance (front bumper seems very close to the ground), the fact that you've said that its bulky and a bit light and being a soft off road.
