When flying to port city you don’t want cruise luggage tags on yet. Friends had to take bags to hotel desk, ask for stapler and configure those tags there in t he lobby. We just attached the preloaded tag holders in the room and we’re ready!

Royal Caribbean’s “banned items” list specifically lists “travel steamers. Also, we just debarked Harmony in May, and there was a confiscation table full of irons and steamers. I wouldn’t recommend cruisers try it.

Although I did put a magnet hook on my door on the NCLJade and hung a small sign and they didn’t remove it. Just wondering about the one you are using and if you have had issues on NCL

Yes, we used our magnet on NCL with no issues. No one even mentioned it.

Possibly the hanging toiletry bag but not any of the other stuff for European airlines -- max weight 17-22 lbs total so no heavy luggage and zip bags are your best bet. Smaller sizes even for poopori! Heavier items in personal bag and laptops and extra shoes limit clothing options. All cruise lines have hairdriers. Zip bags as container storage----water shoes are essential, but no extra stuff space and weightwise. Sturdy bags for European cobblestone streets. Even weigh your clothes when selecting wardrobe for European travel. Personal item size and checked bag size and weight is restricted too!

I travel with carry-on only. I can cruise for 4 weeks easily as I am Elite on Princess and get FREE, unlimited laundry and dry cleaning. As a guy, I don't need different clothes every day.

For the two of us for a 7-night Caribbean, it’s three, but half of one bag is snorkel gear. 🤷‍♀️. It’s 4 for Alaska.

Independence had one outlet we could find. How many does Allure have other then desk? Is there one more by beds?

No plugs by the bed on Allure as far as I can see or find online. There might be a USB plug on the telephone that’s on one of the nightstands, however. Compared to the other oasis class ships, she’s a little behind the times, as she missed her major refer in 2020. I am reading she’s due for that refurb in early 2025.
