These $8000+ comments are delusional. It's worth what someone is willing to pay and that's most likely less than $5,000. It's a sweet build and they are always worth more to the person that built them.

hey man.. I want to thank you so much for all your time putting these informative post together. My son is just getting out of the 85 super mini class. and is too small for a 250. He LOVES HONDA.. he also LOVE X-BOX.. haha I needed to get him away from the T.V. and start teaching him about mechanics and especially building a father / son mature relationship with him.. he is 12.. he doesn't want to hear direction form his dad. I showed him your channel when you first picked up this bike.. Needless to say, we have since bought a 2002 cr125r. It ran good but was rough ($800.) since then we followed your tutorials and rebuilt the breaks, wheel bearings, swing arm / suspension bearings, new rotors, repacked the FMF pipe, Fluid changes, Cable lubes.. now on plastics.. I can not thank you enough for giving me this platform to CONNECT with my soon to be 13yr old son... He awaits your posts and tells all his buddys about the work he has done because of you.. You dont know how much you changed my relationship with him.. and for that I thank you.

That's rad... I have a real unconnected relationship with my dad... Old days were different I guess, I'm 38 now.... If I had a kid I would for sure try to have a more friendship than a formality, his dad died when he was 13... Maybe that has something to do with it... Basically I'm saying good for you man to connect with your boy in these strange times....

Beyond beautiful, truly magnificent. Now, sell it. I did a resto close to this on my 93' CR250R. What you realize after finishing is; they don't show dirt bikes. Riding it like a dirt bike after you've attained this level has psychological consequences of guilt and paranoia of riding and crashing it. I even clear powder coated all of that polished aluminum to try to keep it from turning in mud and moisture. It was not like I thought it would be, it's no fun to ride now, so I bought a CRF450R that I actually ride and have fun on: some trick parts but very little detail work in it. This build is a little different than mine as the point here is for the video and that will help to offset the cost and emotional toll.
