It's been 27 years since Dragon Quest V and then VI came out two or three years after and I don't believe they released it in the US until a Ds. I handheld game , half if us aren't interested in handhelds. We want a reboot of Dragon quest

A big THANK YOU to Jarrod for also buying me a copy of the Collector's Edition of the games! I also got that awesome sword box and the items that came with it! If it makes you feel better Jarrod, the inside of my sword box also had those white tears, though my center piece was still intact. But all the items themselves were in good condition.

Amazing box. Personally though would have prefered it if the two games would have come in a sleeve of sort instead of that high standing box, sorta like those boxes where you put the volumes of a series in. That would have fit also well with the two book designs. =3

With DQ XI coming out next week here in NA, now would be the perfect time to add the hori Slime Controller to this awesome collection. Bought mine with the intention of playing the game to it's completion with it. :D

The deluxe editions look really good. I've been playing dragon quest the last 2 years and have beaten 3,4,5,6,7,8 I played 1 and 9 I'm really hoping for 10 to come over I've wanted to play an mmorpg and dq10 looks really fun.

X is the ultimate Dragon Quest, as it never ends and incorporates all the elements people loved about the rest of the series. It's an incredible game, and as every year passes the chances of it getting released here get lower and lower. If it isn't announced within the next year, it won't be coming here.

Also, on the metal slime 2DS can you change the language for the menus to english or no? I also heard they used the crappy TN panels for the new 2DS XL models and not the IPS ones found on the N3DSXL. That is unfortunate.

dragon quest xi was just announced for September 4th in america. is there any word on a collectors edition? i want to reserve that now. im a huge dragon warrior fan. i started playing it when i got the free copy of dragon warrior with nintendo power

Why does it need to be in English for me not to enjoy it? I've put in almost 100 hours into the 3DS version, and kicked off my Let's Play of the PS4 version. I'd say I'm more than enjoying my time with the game.

Sony is getting better and better with these limited console designs. Some of the previous ones like the Kingdom hearts one was a little meh, but this one they went all out. You have to get the switch version now.
