Have always been in love with this car. Love the fact that it has the gorgeous gauge cluster from the LFA with the shifting rpm gauge. Part of the price comes down to the fact that it's a Toyota and will last forever without breaking unlike zee Germans, at this price point, who seem to actually build costly failures into their machines to sell parts.

Thank you for the review. I always thought this car was underrated. I wanted a 911 or Mercedes AMG, but reliability is a factor after reading a lot about the other two. Test drove one and I placed an order for a coupe in Ultrasonic blue mica.

Nice car, indeed! But I agree; why the cheap plastic trim? Aluminum is lightweight too. Great review of the Lexus "halo car." Ah, yes, the dreaded "track pad." Lexus seems wedded to it. Right off the bat: the style! It truly has that classic Lexus look that has been brought to the modern age. Now i'm thinking in the UK, y'all got ripped off, because those plastic bits y'all got, in the US it's metal. Metallic grey finish so that's strange, however that's forgivable. The most important thing is functionality, and there are no fake vents or exhausts. the interior of a Lexus is superb but not perfect. love the leather and stitching, but i need a touchscreen infotainment system please. performance: cant go wrong with a V8, and this Lexus has the rubber and brakes to go fast, and go full throttle. love this car!

No question I would definitely pick the Lexus LC 500 over a mustang. The quality of the Lexus is far superior to a mustang. Granted I have not driven the LC yet but I have driven other Lexus models and they are far quieter than a mustang.

I think the front has to be soft plastic so you don’t cheese grate poor people as you move them out if the way. Not sure about the back though they might also have to be pedestrian impact friendly. Wife’s car....is there something you want to tell us 😁

Personally I’d go for the Lexus LC500. Of course, you are gonna get better gas mileage in the LC500h, but I wouldn’t buy a vehicle like this for gas mileage.

I have the Lexus ES and just love it and this is just AMAZING. This is one gorgeous beautiful car (nearly as beautiful as you, Trish). But Trish, do you not think their mouse pad for the Navigation is just terrible?...one of the worse around. Thankfully they have done away with that rubbish and gone for touch control. Great review as usual and yes I would rather have the Lexus any day over the Ford

That plasticie parts are quite expensive to replace. Maintenance is profit. The rigid frame emerges from the SC 350 problem of vibration with top down. The LC price is inflated. Compare the SC cost a decade earlier. Buy the LC used for value. My SC is approaching 300, 000 miles.

This is the best grand tourer in the world.when you take into account build quality and customer service. Yes it's expensive but worth the money. Forget track day BMW's, Mercs or Audi's. This is better value for money and i would have one in a heartbeat. A small point l don't think that you would be pointing out the price so much if you were reviewing a German brand.

I’ve had mine for 2years now. 5.0 V8 Sport+….fell in love first time I saw it. Tried Aston DB, M8, E53 Coupe etc….still chose the Lexus. I love it. Had a lot of cars over the years-but genuinely can’t see myself selling this gorgeous machine. I’d also say that owning a car like this can be a nightmare….but it is easy with the comprehensive Lexus warranty. Infotainment….learn the voice commands; really easy.

I am the proud owner of a LC500 convertible a23.the car is a gem. It’s like sitting in a leather cocoon. Superb design and exhaust note. If you drive one you will buy one. I traded in my beloved 10 yellow vette. I don’t regret it for a moment.
