Ice was used in the 1600s in Europe for sure, to cool fish on transport, they used ice from the glaciers and packed it in boxes isolated with peat. Basically you had had the fresh fish in barrels surrounded by ice surrounded by peat in a box. Later in the industrial era, they used ice houses, isolated with peat, where they put in the ice cut in winter to provide ice for the fridge not a refrigerator, because the last is working with electricity. The ice man came every week and sold the ice, which he produced in the winter.

@@SirJayWalker the talking is fine, but you just run into the wrong building run out, talking and then back in the wrong building again, very entertaining and you sometimes don’t know what’s in your storage and where, because it’s not sorted. A very fine chaotic let’s play.
