I am going to take a moment and write what I am feeling right now. No cutesy comments, etc. just straight to the point! I love to redo furniture. Add to that the fact that I am a great grandmother makes for interesting "hobby"!. You are the ONLY KZbinr that I have found that 1. Talks without unnecessary hesitations and delays between words, sentences, etc. It drives me nuts!! 2. You tell it like it should be explained in simple, easy to understand terms. 3. You are very thorough and complete in giving directions. 3. You are just animated enough. 4. You know the proper terminology for giving directions and the proper names of products and tools. 4. You take the time to show every single phase of the process so we can see and learn. 5. You do not assume we know.....whatever. If we did, we wouldn't be watching!! 6. I love your pink hair! I'm tempted! OK, that's enough! Don't you change a thing about how and what you do. I know there are a lot of people that truly enjoy you and your thorough instructions. Thank you so much! I have not only learned a great deal, I have been inspired by you to pursue projects I probably would not have attempted.

Wow Linda thank you so very much!! It really does mean a lot and thank you for taking the time to write that to me. I always say I would rather create quality content that will be helpful feather than fluff and nonsense I try to be mindful of you and your time. I like things to be concise and so I try to make sure that is what I give ❤️❤️ Thank you again so very much I really appreciate you so so much.

Extremely well done and concise. There have been almost 44,000 people watch this video and only 2,000 "likes". I think that is a darn shame! It's not a big deal to click on the icon people. And I don't know what the 18 others were smoking. If you like someone's content, you should show your appreciation by giving them a "thumbs up". I'm jumping down off my soap box now.

This was a great instructional video. I want to let you know that out of all the furniture flipper / painters that I've watched, you really stand out for me. You're truly an artist, have a really great base of technical knowledge about paint and brushes and the looks you can create with them. But what I love the most about your work is that you use COLOR!!! Everything's so monotone these days. It's so refreshing to see COLOR!!!

I’ve always sanded first; because I thought, “why clean first and then sand?” You explained that today. I have noticed on a few of my pieces (where b4 painting there might have been fingerprints) that after the piece is painted sometimes staining would show through in those spots. Now I know why. Duh!!! I was sanding those fingerprints right into the wood! I’ve heard lots of people say clean it first and then sand but you are the first person to explain “why”! I guess I’m the kind of old lady that needs to know “why exactly don’t I take this short cut?” Thank goodness I’m not so old that I can’t learn this trick. LOL Thanks so much for the info. I learn so much on your channel.

I have a super stressful appointment in an hour. It's amazing how calming watching you paint can be. I think I'm going to go buy some best dang wax after this awful thing is over. I need something to look forward to. I've always used diy but I've run out. The nearest seller is an hour away so DB here i come. 😏 this will be my first time using any of their products. I'm giving it a try because of you. Thanks for sharing, especially this morning!!

I have to say thank you so very much for going back to the beginning and back to basics!👏❣️💘❣️🥳 For all those that are new or even some of us that have been refinishing furniture our whole lives but now with all the new products and paints and sealers and stains, it's nice to see the use of them and kind of the do's and don'ts 👍❣️❣️ I only have one question and that is with the transfers if you put them on a piece and you don't have the Dixie Belle clear coat or top coat that you used, what is a anybody can find it anywhere product that you would use to seal the transfer on a piece of furniture?? Something like polyacrylic or polyurethane something in that family?? Again thank you so much for your hard work and for just showing everybody how they can do things do them correctly and get a great outcome when they use your knowledge for their own projects😍❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ Sincerely Lori K 💕

What a beautiful China Cabinet. I love Vintage Duck Egg. It's a great color and makes this piece look farmhouse. I always learn something new when I watch your videos. I had no idea that you could condition raw wood with Big Mama's Butta. That's a tip I'll definitely have to try. Lots of great tips and I've been painting for a while. Thanks for another great video !!

That was excellent, really enjoyed that, beautifully done!. I have become very flippant when doing furniture cos "it's only for me" and I want it done quick so I can be tidy again and continue with sewing etc. It's so worth going with all preparation in this video even if it is just for you! I have two other bits of furniture to paint, for now, and they deserve to be done well, Thank you so much.
