I am going to take a moment and write what I am feeling right now. No cutesy comments, etc. just straight to the point! I love to redo furniture. Add to that the fact that I am a great grandmother makes for interesting "hobby"!. You are the ONLY KZbinr that I have found that 1. Talks without unnecessary hesitations and delays between words, sentences, etc. It drives me nuts!! 2. You tell it like it should be explained in simple, easy to understand terms. 3. You are very thorough and complete in giving directions. 3. You are just animated enough. 4. You know the proper terminology for giving directions and the proper names of products and tools. 4. You take the time to show every single phase of the process so we can see and learn. 5. You do not assume we know.....whatever. If we did, we wouldn't be watching!! 6. I love your pink hair! I'm tempted! OK, that's enough! Don't you change a thing about how and what you do. I know there are a lot of people that truly enjoy you and your thorough instructions. Thank you so much! I have not only learned a great deal, I have been inspired by you to pursue projects I probably would not have attempted.

This was a great instructional video. I want to let you know that out of all the furniture flipper / painters that I've watched, you really stand out for me. You're truly an artist, have a really great base of technical knowledge about paint and brushes and the looks you can create with them. But what I love the most about your work is that you use COLOR!!! Everything's so monotone these days. It's so refreshing to see COLOR!!!

I’ve always sanded first; because I thought, “why clean first and then sand?” You explained that today. I have noticed on a few of my pieces (where b4 painting there might have been fingerprints) that after the piece is painted sometimes staining would show through in those spots. Now I know why. Duh!!! I was sanding those fingerprints right into the wood! I’ve heard lots of people say clean it first and then sand but you are the first person to explain “why”! I guess I’m the kind of old lady that needs to know “why exactly don’t I take this short cut?” Thank goodness I’m not so old that I can’t learn this trick. LOL Thanks so much for the info. I learn so much on your channel.

I also was looking for a video to recommend for a friend that wants to paint a piece. This is perfect! Love you pink hair, your teaching style, and you’re willingness to help others. Thanks so much.
