I hope you enjoy the video! This was one of the most amazing experiences we've ever had, thanks to my buddy Shaffan for inviting us out to his village house here instagram.com/laksagandumciksu/ to try one of the BEST laksa's in the world!! And then we found a very unique and rare village stew before driving up north to Terengganu! Hope you're enjoying this road trip series! This video is my favourite one so far in the series! It's interesting to see that laksa is not soup, like how most western countries present it, but rather a nice thick broth to go with the noodles
@myronl29104 жыл бұрын
Living in the US. i feel that because of cost. the quality of food is lowered but prices are high. where as whenever i travel to Asia. food prices are fair or cheaper but the food quality is much higher.
@ryo52104 жыл бұрын
@@myronl2910 I think that's just different variant of laksa based on locality, no?
@myronl29104 жыл бұрын
@@ryo5210 I've had 2 kinds of laska. the coconut curry and the asam laksa(fish one which i didnt like cause it was too fishy). Yeh its true every one can make their own version, but I'm refering to Charlie Warlie mentioning about a thick broth which would have a more intense flavor over a more watery soup version.
@wanmohamad76264 жыл бұрын
@Bouya In my country, Malaysia, almost each state got its own variant of Laksa. However, as far as I could clearly remember growing up and trying different kind of these Malaysian laksa, my Malay tastebuds prefer the thicker broth. Hardly we call light broth as a broth. We call it "soup" instead. And I think many Malaysians especially the Malay ethnic share this same preference.
