Yeh its true every one can make their own version, but I'm refering to Charlie Warlie mentioning about a thick broth which would have a more intense flavor over a more watery soup version.

@Bouya In my country, Malaysia, almost each state got its own variant of Laksa. However, as far as I could clearly remember growing up and trying different kind of these Malaysian laksa, my Malay tastebuds prefer the thicker broth. Hardly we call light broth as a broth. We call it "soup" instead. And I think many Malaysians especially the Malay ethnic share this same preference.
