The Qur’an says in Surat Al-Ma’idah:You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; And you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogantAnd when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth. They say, "Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.

Hearing the stats of the weights you move opened my eyes so much. I lift heavier than you, but you look so much fitter than me. I need to let go of the thought that maximum weight is always the best.
@danielaansuh87886 ай бұрын
Sometimes higher reps and endurance go a longer way than making weight, you will always have the rest of your journey to be as strong as you can be, but endurance is the killer. 😅

You have to consider body weight though. If you're the same weight as her then you can follow what she's doing but if you're heavier it's natural that you lift heavier too.

Omg Sophie, at 10:25 you mention that every ex during a workout doesn’t have to be heavier because sometimes the order of the ex determines how the overall workout should progress. I have been implementing this concept into my workouts intuitively and just thought I might be doing it wrong but it felt right to me so I adopted it. I’m a TOTAL beginner at working out so it felt very brave and risky to not know if I was making the right decision to make these adjustments but here you are. Love Gaining By Brains. Just love it. ❤ Thank you for taking us on another journey through your lifts. ♥️

Sophie, I have been following you since you did your very first bulk about 6 years ago or so. You have always been consistent, but constantly learning and sharing your wonderful information for free. I finally bit the bullet and started the Level Up Guide. My husband has a kinesiology degree and has been lifting consistently for a very long time. It still kicked his butt (and mine). Amazing! I'm looking forward to many more programs! Thank you!

Your videos are really kool. I just found this channel. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of videos only about "glutes". I think there is an obsession now to have big glutes because it's trending. You know the "instagram body". I think we should workout for our cardio and get a nice toned body but not obsessed about growing one part. Maybe it's because I am 39. Exercise has helped me breath better and look 25 years old. I was a 100m-200m champion in my country so I still have a killer body at my age. I think is a good message to tell young women to train to get fit or toned and to get healthier hearts and lungs, but not obsess with growing glutes so men look at us because most girls want to grow them for that.

Guys, I found the best exercise to target the side dimples on the cheeks! 1. It's sled pulls. 2. It's about strapping the sled to your waist or hips with something like a dip/pull up belt with chains, then strapping to the sled with weights, and then "towing" the sled as you walk forward with it behind you.

Build your glutes with strength training, get enough protein to do so, eat slightly fewer calories to burn any fat (can’t spot reduce - just gotta keep going), be consistent, patient, make those workouts intense……At least I’m pretty positive that’s what she would tell you. Or look up any of her glute building vids! There’s many but it really is all what I first said.

Question: is it better to have a workout split where you have a leg day and upper body day separate? So you just annihilate a group of muscles? Or is it okay that I do full body days always? I can commit to 3 days a week at the gym. Sometimes 4. That's why I focus on full body so I don't miss anything. However, I kind of don't feel like I'm getting anywhere. Would love to hear someone's perspective of whether always doing full body days are worse than separating muscle groups, or just as fine.
@evabredin89306 ай бұрын
I think you should split 4 days so you will have 2 lower body days and 2 upper body days. If you train like this you will be able to build more muscles 🥰💪🏼
