These "sensors" for brake wear are basically a continuous wire that gets cut by the brake when the pads are worn down to a certain point. Health and safety probably. It sounds annoying but it's just how it is. @SecretSauceyjuice5 жыл бұрын
@@Gizmo2k5 Agreed. I'm not saying this is what happened, but it makes it seem like they blew the whole budget under the hood. Power is not all that makes a supercar a supercar. It doesn't even have to be coilovers, although I do agree that a GOOD coilover set is worthwhile for corner balancing and compression/rebound adjustability - and fitting wider tires in some cases. You're looking at 2-3 grand USD though to get into the range that can actually improve performance while not sacrificing too much else. A cheap coilover set by comparison is just as bad as changing only springs on a strut setup. In which case, you'd be better off with a carefully matched upgraded strut/spring.

Gandalf m8 An st3 with about 45000 miles on it. It wouldn’t of stung so much getting chopped by a golf if it was a 125 lol. Came off a roundabout together onto a dual carriageway so it was about a 30mph rolling start and then we both gunned it, we were both levelish until 130 then he started pulling on me.

@mightycarmods how much did the entire project cost? Could you do a breakdown? Thanks

Just adding up the retail cost from the REVO website is over 11k in parts. All the prices are listed there if your curiosity is deep enough to click through the site.
@JavanVandeSlunt5 жыл бұрын
@@Jacedives I don't know what currency you are using, but I would tend to agree. I was thinking $45k USD all said if you assume a $120hr shop rate, about 48 man-hours of labor, and that the original car was around $25k.

Dear Mighty Car Mods, i was watching you for past five years. Maybe more. The first video that i watched as far as i could remember was how to install start button. Many car people on youtube over years had either gone better or worse. But you guys were outstandingly better. The thing that i liked the most is that you started with something so small. Some sort of crap cars, and look at you now, building powerfull machines tuning all sort of vehicles, reviving old, but not much old, beasts from japan. Every time you post a video i just can't wait to see it. I am especially gratefull to the video where you tested a golf R with other cars, too bad for Mitsubishi for breaking the pipe. And also that time with Wasabi and 2 sexy, it was soo nice, 2 sexy was a rice rocket but it all started with that car. Keep up the good work and thanks for good videos.
