If you're using high quality mods, it is recommended to make some changes in the config files as well as steam launch options. since i just started playing ATS and getting into modding (modding GTA5 realism, cars, maps, graphics since 2015) i must tell you that the current game version with ALL dlcs does not work with these settings of the NVIDIA inspector. Set the MSAA mode and settings back to application controlled - therefore u wont have a blackscreen. anything else, starting command etc can be as the tutorial states.

those mods are awesome man. most of them are high quality mods. probably fps may cause issues i think.

I am not alone when I state that activateing mod's is a bitch to do correctly. I've come to the understanding and acceptance that there are categories, and that from top down they have to be in an order. I can for the most part, associate most mods into a category, the issue is, what is the order from top down. The activation section states at the bottom "PRIORITY" mods go up. But then everyone state's their mod needs to be prioritized above any and all other's. Which is an impossibility. So if you could please, from the top down; What are the catogories. Placing mod's in the correct cateogory is easily fixed. But if the categories are not in their correct order; There's gonna be issues.

how to load mods or the way i was always told to add them and it works fine for me is , Trucks at bottom, accessories and paints, trailer's, economy mods,AI mods ( such as traffic) then Graphic mods at very top. hope this helps you or anyone else having issues with this.

Should be no problem, and you can always turn down the anti aliasing if need be.

@@alpha2project Works like a charm so far. Not so sure if the settings applied well on the NPI though cause when I first ran it, it actually ran without an error then second time around it gave an error message but allowed me to continue to run the program so I can only assume or hope it worked. One other thing is, is it a must to run the RES at 1440p or I can step it up to 4K?

You should be able to run any resolution you want. Take a look at my pinned comment as well if the game isn’t smooth or crashes, it might help a bit.

Dafür gibt es auch keine Ausraden, ob die mods "Qualität" zu bieten haben. Das Spiel selber bietet mehr als 20 Trucks für 20 euro. Und früher haben sich alle wegen Bethesda aufgeregt, als Sie Bezahlmods daraus gemacht haben. Entwerder, man hat euch gut erzogen oder Ihr habt zuviel Geld. Früher hat man aus Spass gemodded, aller unser Hobby, nur wegen dem Spass und dem Ruhm willen. Diese Gier kann und werde ich nicht unterstützen. Viel Spass euch allen, auf das unser Hobby zugrunde geht, wenn jeder Geld verlangt. Euro und American Truck Simulator ragen dabei heraus. Soetwas habe ich noch bei keinem anderen Spiel gesehen. I understand, paid mods aren't ideal. I'll be the first one to admit I've gone a bit overboard with the payware mods, there is no need for so many of them, for example, realistically I'll never use all of the 389's I've bought. I'm also in a different situation, as I make videos, I mostly make all the money spent on mods back eventually. Once you try a payware truck mod though, you'll never want to go back to the stock SCS ones, I guarantee that. The quality is just unmatched - that's of course if you get the correct mods. I agree most mods should be free and made out of passion for the game and the community. There are a lot of modders asking money for mods I wouldn't even download for free and many are just way too overpriced. But you also have to think about how some of these mods have taken a single person years to develop and are still constantly being updated. At the end of the day, you don't need to buy paid mods, there are plenty available for free and the payware ones are as popular as they are because the community is willing to spend the money on them. Payware mods are mostly for players who consider the game a hobby and have so for years, just look at flight simulators - yes, most of the add-ons offer more content for the price, but you're still spending 10-30 dollars just on an airport that you'll see once in a while. When I play MSFS, I spend over 20 euros a month just on subscriptions to have a realistic experience, that's not including any hardware, planes, airports or other add-ons I like to use - I think it's a similar situation here. The main problem with ATS & ETS2 mods is the fact that they're unregulated, you'll get a lot of toxic, selfish modders selling their mods, thinking you should be grateful to them for getting to spend money on their mods. There are a lot of good modders out there though, you just need to be careful and do a lot of research. KZbin channels like mine, help you with that.

I am happy to pay for mod trucks , as SCS will not provide the Cool old trucks most players want. I also am happy to pay for mod engines that sound real.
