Lindsay Connali I was thinking of getting more eyeshadows recently and realised of all my palettes, only one had a green shade lmao. Personally, I'm terrified of the color mustard in both makeup and clothing! I've seen it look pretty on certain people but it seems like one of those colors where it can go south and sickly REAL quick

To me the best way to rock mustard is to pair it with mostly black. That way it won't overwhelm me with what to wear and what not to wear when wearing mustard, lilac, greens and blues. I just pair the colors with black. Black goes with everything. With mustard makeup, just wear your normal transitional colors then put mustard on the lid. It may look safe, but it's beautiful. I think of it as my training wheels when trying new colors. I put two transitional colors in my crease, then put the color I'm interested in exploring. I'm gonna use mustard as an example. I'll put mustard on my lid. Blend it. Put on some brown liner or black liner and mascara and lashes. Do my face like I normally do. Then put on a nude and lipgloss to finish it off.

I love the way pink eyeshadow looks sometimes, but I'm always afraid of it because half the time it will stain your eyes. I only use it when I'm willing to commit to covering up the stain for the next several days.
