But I have now been with my bf for 6 months. Even with anxiety, it might be a longer wait but someone will come along that allows you to feel comfortable and will try to understand you. Same! The popular girls would always go up to guys and talk and hang with them to be cool... And then make fun of me and my girls while we having our girl talk in corner of the field. But there was this guy who would ALWAYS come up to us in class or just always and whenever and talk to us. He wasn't hitting on anyone. He would just talk to us to any of us and make us laugh! Not because he was a different sexuality ( but if you are then good for you always be proud of yourself) just since he was a nice guy and knew the "popular" girls were being mean. In the end he is now one of our best friends and is invited to all of our future weddings

i had very bad anxiety before my boyfriend and i became a couple. we had known eachother for six years until we started dating. we were classmates and friends for six years, but he didnt know i was suffering from very bad social anxiety. i had not told anyone, but once we became really close, i kind of had to tell him why i always went to the bathroom after the moment i entered his home or any home for that matter. he helped me become the person i am today. i was awkward, insecure and really not ready for any relationship at all. but i have grown so much with his love and his support. i suffer way less of the anxiety i used to have. it was controlling my life and now it luckily isnt anymore. we have been together for almost two years now and i am the happiest girl to call him mine. i am still on a long way to loving myself, but boy, did his love and his support made me flourish. i know no one will read this, but man, do i love that man.

at 7:51 you answer a question about someone saying they're not ready for a relationship. i think your answer is egregious. some people aren't ready for a relationship due to personal reasons e.g. depression or anxiety. sometimes some people aren't really sure of themselves. they'll ask people on dates in effort to combat their mental state, but after a few dates realize that's not working and their mental state supersedes any chance of a relationship. its happened to me multiple times.
