You can also use Sangan into Almiraj, Arboria doesn't activate so it's still a 1 card Halq, which if you don't have extenders, can summon Rokket Synchron, to go into Striker, to search Boot Sector Launch, pop something else (a S/T maybe?)to get Synchron back, and Boot Sector it to turn it into Elpy.

So, my deck is actually somewhere between this and list from the lab. I prefer to not run the union carrier, because getting rid of the guardragons to finish your line of play can sometimes suck, and leaving an Elpy on board is actually pretty threatening. The down side is brotaur becomes my only chance to search for lancia. It isn’t really an issue in top cut, but it makes for an easy disadvantage to Dino’s in Swiss. I main the vylon package game one so I can glint the hand knowledge, and with union carrier, that works every time, because it is my last play of the turn. However, making both harbinger and carrier is only successful about 30% of the time. Ditching herald at any point opens up for nib. Harbinger protects both Goliath and herald, and I find opening Goliath to be far less detrimental. I know this all basically boils down to a meta call, but if anyone is dealing with something similar. Is there any consideration that pushed you to one choice over the other?

Maybe small, but unlike Goliath, Sloth is lv 6, so you can tribute summon it using things like Quick-Launch, Dangers, etc. Also, Sangan into Almiraj searches Arboria and remember, she doesn't activate, so its a 1 card Halq. Even after the banlist, Union Carrier+Lancea might still be good in the side just to counter Dinos. What is the "Vylon package?" Halq into Cube, Tune w/ a lv 1 for Arc Light to search Living Fossil?

You can replace Amorphage Sloth for Buster Whelp, as it can be played via Hieratic Seal. Unlike Goliath, it's lv 6, so you can tribute summon it using things like Quick-Launch, Dangers, etc. Also, Sangan into Almiraj searches Arboria and remember, she doesn't activate, so its a 1 card Halq.

I'm trying to make Red-Eyes playable, and I mixed Crusadia and Rokkets only to come here...the deck is kinda similar, even to the point of Rafflesia, which I'm teching everywhere like Sangan/Formud lol. I'm trying to make multiple Dragun via Muddy and Dark Hex Sealed, not just Anaconda, but honestly not really worth it. The only Red-Eyes cards I can even use are REDMD, Black Metal, Anaconda package, and Fang with Chain...it's still a Red-Eyes deck, right? lol Blue-Eyes has 10x more potential, just from White Stone being a Tuner, let alone also LIGHT, but also based in lv 8 support. Ironic.

this is both wildly entertaining and the actual best deck tech i've ever seen personally. I know it took a lot of work and a massive amount of time to learn (this was basically your year's progression series), but i'm confident that any other guides like this would be fantastic. You don't even have to be meta, just make a video for any decks you like playing, as this helps as it goes in depth to the combo mentality so even against it you know what to do.

My buddies and I are trying to get into more meta relevant decks cuz we have only ever done casual play. Run 2 copies. Makes Rafflesia live twice as long. Chances are higher you'll draw a copy yes, but drawing both is FAR more unlikely than drawing 1, plus a decent interuption if you can't Saryuja it back... Burn the hell out of your opponent for assuming you only run 1.

Great vid, as usual. Gotta say, I almost kinda hope (only a lil) that they let halq live for just one more banlist just so I can grab this deck irl and use it some. It looks really fun to mess around with. But, seeing how many people are (rightfully) calling for halq, linkross and verte's respective heads it seems like a steep investment just to play the deck for about 1 month. Still! Thoughts on cards like Pot of Avarice or Coach King Giantrainer? Harbinger is pretty beefy though, since it can protect Hieratic Seal/Amorphage Sloth. Avarice seems pretty good since you can recycle your Links for another board, without Buster, Dark Ruler can hurt the end board, as can Sphere Mode, Droplets... Maybe even Curious+Gryphon or Auroradon to search Imperial Order? Union Carrier for Lancea still a side option against Dinos. Or is Appointer of the Red Lotus better to these? Hard draw it easier. Meh, nobody plays Sphere Mode.

I really enjoyed the vid, helped a lot, but you can´t equip Buster sword to Harbinger, because Harbinger is Light and Buster is Dark. Union carrier can only equip to the same element, so Savage would be the perfect target :)

Yeah the handtraps are interchangeable! I played Crow on top of Nib & Gamma cause Crow can be big on NS Seyfert, Aleister in GY for Invocation and a few Infernoble bits :P

I hate to say this, but I recommend Infinite Impermanence over Veiler even in Halq decks. The reason is normal summoning a vanilla Tuner is usually not going to help much unless you have basically Dangers! in hand, but there's so many better ways to go into your combo, it's not worth it considering the negatives: Going 2nd, Drawing it as card #6 or later it becomes dead (well, unless you can also break your opponent's board and then counter them on their turn). Whereas Imperm will be a fantastic top deck. Veiler is a monster, so it's easy to counter with Triple Tactical Talents, Called By, Apoloussa, Gravedigger's Trap Hole, Mechaba (probably), whereas only Omni-Negates like Savage and Dragun can stop Imperm. Imperm can also work harder and turn off floodgates or scary traps or really any Spell your opponent plays if they stupidly play it in the same column, like if they get reckless and giddy after drawing Dark Ruler no More/Evenly. Imperm can be used Draw/Standby Phase, to counter True King of All Calamities (very popular right now), or Battle Phase, or whenever. So lets say they try summoning their 5th monster in the End Phase but have something to stop Nibiru, you can stop that with Imperm. Certain decks can Imperm an Omni Negate, then play Mystic Mine to turn everything else off, then play Utopia Double and win. Of course Dark Ruler and Zeus is a good board wipe too.. I'm sure you knew all of this, but it may help regardless. Imperm looks nice as a Maximum Gold at $20, even if it gets reprinted, I don't think it'll drop much more. I'm trying to pick up copies for $16. Nibiru, Dark Ruler, and HFD getting reprints is nice too, screw Droplets, Lightning Storm, and TTT.

Thanks! 🥰 Yeah you can absolutely play Seyfert in the deck, it’s a good normal summon (if you dont see crusadia combo) and a good target to summon off Spheres / Saryuja! Helps you recur Levianeer from the GY too which is nice

Cheers! You could try playing the combo with Halqifibrax and Pisty for Saryuja instead of Elpy, but it wouldn't be as great. You'd need to play Unexpected Dai & maybe more Dragon Shrines since you have less resources for Romulus!

Not much to say tbh, had poor hands both games and couldn't play through the interruptions. I COULD have played better in game 1 by making Spheres instead of Savage, since it plays better with the Nibiru I had in hand and would of set me up for Turn 3. Other than that, yeah not much to add lol

In the case of Dai, I meant it being used alongside skippy! Dai always has to be your first summon, so you go Skippy after and have options for if it gets impermed or not :)

Are people using Ogre right now? Psy-Frame Gamma beats everything, but it comes with a cost: a potential brick vanilla that could be drawn, and also their other copies of Gamma later become DEAD DRAWS, even if they have no field. So if they Nibiru you, they can't use Gamma. Maybe get lucky with an extender like Quick Launch, One For One, or Monster Reborn? You can also use Sangan into Almiraj, Arboria doesn't activate so it's still a 1 card Halq, which if you don't have extenders, can summon Rokket Synchron, to go into Striker, to search Boot Sector Launch, pop something else (a S/T maybe?)to get Synchron back, and Boot Sector it to turn it into Elpy.

revz i want to ask you something, i live in a country which they sell rarely yugioh cards, i couldn't get a hope harbinger, but i got a card which i think is better which is lancelot, he have a negate for the first effect your opponent do, and if you manage to get him in second turn he will come in handy, shall i continue playing him, or order a hope harbinger from amazon?

Lancelot is a good card, but the issue is that it's negate is mandatory, so it HAS to negate the first thing that happens on both players turn. It's easy to play around and has to be the last thing you do on your turn, otherwise it negates your own stuff. It might also actually stop you from doing important things on turn 3, so I'd really recommend getting the Harbinger if you can!

You could get away with just the Halqifibrax, using Pisty instead of Elpy to get to Saryuja. I think you'd have to play it at 40 cards and change ratios so your Saryuja Draws are more likely to get you to the cards you need like Dragon Shrine

Remember the section on garnets and pseudogarnets? Well Dragoon add another 2 pseudogarnets and a garnet. Also, in a lot of decks dragoon is a backup in case their combo doesn't work out, but spheres already achieves that in dragon link.
