Excellent as always Mynda. 🤩 I know there is some interoperability between Office apps, but eventually I can see them all being combined and it will be the ultimate blank canvas. For instance, creating dashboards and charts shouldn't really be over a spreadsheet grid (in my opinion); it would make far more sense to design those kind of reports in Publisher, or to a lesser extent, Word. If all these applications were combined you could pick the type of page depending on its function.

Thanks, Steve! That's an interesting insight into what the future may hold. In the meantime, you can turn off the gridlines in Excel via the View tab of the ribbon.
