I have helped hundreds of people pass their B2 First exam at no cost, and I would LOVE to keep it that way. Of course, I still have to maintain a full time job while running this channel, and BELIEVE ME, I spend the majority of my free time writing, recording, editing and publishing videos. I love doing this, but I would love it even more if I could do it for a living! If every student that PASSED their exams bought one beer for Bruce I’d be able to do this full time. That would be MARVELLOUS! So, if you’ve PASSED your B2 First exam, and feel that SMASH English really helped, please consider donating here: www.buymeacoffee.com/SMASHEnglish This is not an obligation. One of the fantastic things about SMASH English is that it is free for everyone that needs it! This will not change. However, if you do feel you can say thanks with a little bit of money then that’s fantastic. Thank you all! Toby.

Thank you for your great videos! I teach B1/B2 students, and we try to provide the students with plenty of supplementary material to view/use/practice with on their own time to supplement what they learn and do in class. Usually for each grammar point, I try to find a useful video so that when they're not in class, they can still have a teacher explaining things to them. I appreciate the absolute THOROUGHNESS of this video and I'll definitely be looking at your other videos to see about using them for other topics. And of course, I'll buy you a beer for your wonderful efforts. Thanks for your dedication!

Toby I'm here to share with you my results, fortunately, I got 180 marks. I want to thank you for all your amazing videos and lessons. You were a lifesaver for me with writing and speaking parts specifically. Finally, I just want to ask, have you ever considered making a video speaking about what is the next step in order to get C1 level? I know the answer can be pretty obvious but I think for us, students, can be something difficult to think of.

Gonzalo! You did great and should be very proud of your achievement! As for videos about transitioning from B2 to C1, I'll be making LOADS of them very soon 😉

Thank you Toby!! OMG, this is pretty difficult for me ... I'm trying to read as much as possible because , besides I enjoy it a lot, I belive it is a "natural" way to learn new adjectives . I read The House on Mango Street from Sandra Cisneros . I loved it. Very adequate for B2 level. Also Gerald Durrel's trilogy. Charming novels about his family's stories and his endless devotion to natural history. Could you recommend some novels/books for B2 English level? Cheers!!
