I’ve always noticed traits in madden, especially since I play a lot of CFM leagues. I never really thought it mattered that much, I’m probably gonna take a look at more traits more for certain positions.

Same here. It depends how you play. There are sim gamers that don't like to user catch or play the game at all and the traits will matter more in those cases.

@@bigboi301slg Yeah fasho, I get into a lot of situations where I have players who can make easy picks on defense but just don’t go for it, this may play a big part of that.

Exactly! This should REALLY help regs/CFM choices as well as MUT (even though EA tends to drop content with good traits - some can be fools gold too).

I find the “makes rac catches” one very important. They seem to take longer to turn up the field after a catch without it Aggressive play ball too of course

as i main mut, i always thought cfm players knew everything abt the traits n could learn how to abuse em since they could change em unlike mut players

In regards to the DB explanation, this is why I feel like BoJack is a pretty underrated card. Yes I know he doesn’t get DOKO/PA for discounts, but his free XFactor acts like PA in zone coverage, plus his abilities are good for an in the box SubLB. His attributes are also pretty dang good especially with Strat boosts.

in my CFM, recently gave a drafted rookie the bull rush trait even though he is a speed rusher. But now he actually gets pressure even though he already had finesse traits prior.

I’ve noticed that the high motor trait is extremely important when running man because when it’s off and say a WR breaks on a route the corner will kinda dumb out and not run with it for a moment where as when the trait is on they follow it the whole way

Same happens to me. Had WRs out out to their route.. and jog or stop.. now I know what may be causing it.

I thing I need to say about linebackers if you user them you have to pay attention to change of direction otherwise you won’t be able to get towards the ball for the animation to pick it out the air I wouldn’t recommend Kyzir at all cause of that 84 change of direction

Only a few matter. High motor is for players who are tired yet still will give 100% effort. Senses pressure matters for QB's. Braces for big hits can matter if you dont cover yourself And throws tight sprials are the only ones that matter for offense. Pass rushers u want all the moves

I think braces effect broken tackles. I noticed all my RBs that never cover the ball break alot of tackles even tho they are subject to fumble

This info is crazy. I never thought traits actually mattered but they do. I used 68 ovr Malik Willis and 54 ovr Cole McDonald in my cfm and passing the ball was much easier with McDonald because his “sense pressure” rating is average compared to Willis paranoid!

Is it a huge difference between balanced and aggressive play ball in air? Or is it a slight upgrade? I have my eyes on buying the new Foysade Okuolun 98 ovr but the only thing holding me back is that he has play ball in air at balanced

Question, in another video I think you suggested to put coaching settings on "play receiver" when in Man To help with KOs. So if a player has "aggressive" for play ball trait, does that mean he's only playing the ball aggressively (meaning for swats and INTs) or will he play the receiver aggressively as well?

You can always click on and play the ball yourself if you want, as well. The coach setting is just a default and button command overrides it.
