I really appreciate this guide! I am a beginner when it comes to music making and as someone who tends to open a DAW, stare at it for 20 seconds and then give up, you really make the process of making music feel more approachable by suggesting a sort of process for creating a track. I also really appreciate that you at times mess up in the loop recording (on purpose or not) to then show the glueing feature and the possibility of recording multiple takes! Great video!

Wow, dude. Where so many tutorials would be a 10 minute video to cover one concept with ads, ad-reads, etc..., you've put them all into one comprehensive video with absolute gems of knowledge sprinkled in. The psuedomaster bus and reverb bus tips seem like real gamechangers. Just need to figure out the best way to fit Maschine into this workflow cause I lowkey hate the default of it, but love its organization. Can't wait to watch more of your stuff, thanks a ton.

Dope tutorial but just a piece of advise: when it comes to a tutorial for total beginners, you should probably stick with the default UI even if you prefer a different one, because to a noob they look totally different and it's quite confusing

@BrianWilliamsTheEngineer2 жыл бұрын
Resamplomatic can run more than 1 sample at a time. If you click on the sample name (on the far left with the checkbox), you can copy/paste (control C, Control V) and set a different sample to that. You just need to change the Note Start/Note End of each sample to correspond with what the sound mapped to (depends on your midi controller). Reaper Mania has a good tutorial on this. It allows you to play all the drums at once. However I do like having each sample on a separate track. If you put multiple samples on one track, you can always explode them out to separate tracks later via midi channel.

the big advantage of using reverb with sends is that you basically simulate how real multiple instruments would play in the same room and the combined sound would bounce around, as opposed to having individual reverb on each track (which would be like having each instrument play in its own room, alone, and then combine all the recordings). the verb bus is a much more natural way of hearing reverb :)
