I am currently working on placing company/business/organizational branding on a curved, 3-Dimensional surface; However, the brand logo is simply an extruded, planar image. My goal is to effectively 'drape' the logo and brand text over the 3-Dimensional surface. Is this achieved using the Soap Skin and Bubble extension, or should I use a different extension?

it does not work for me whenever i try using skin bubble i get a notification saying that there's time limit is there any solution ?

Like you I use this extensively for fixing holes in terrain geometry or to berm up and berm down into pedestrian paths. One time I built a whole 12 acre site for a school using only this tool. It is amazing.

I cannot seem to get the PRESSURE box draw a circle, delete center, highlight edge lay down mesh (grid) hit enter, press soap bubble...no pressure box appears, though the word appears upper left. no value, area turns white and is flat. any thoughts/ reinstall?

👍 I always liked this plugin very much! Important to know: It has a determinate runtime however and is from then on no longer usable anymore. I never managed to find out how or if you can somehow reactivate this plugin again... (I hoped so much you had illuminated this small but very important aspect 😉)

do the sketchup extensions work for the 2017 free version or is it only applicable for the full versions of the newer editions?

Extensions will work for the 2017 free version just fine, so long as the extension lists 2017 among its compatible versions!

Amazing tool-- I'm having issues with soapskin actually fully "healing" a hole in a non-coplanar surface. It's close, but it doesn't perfectly close the hole. I can't seem to figure out how to do that and was hoping your video covered that. At about 10:49 in your video you change the divisions from 10 to 20 and it appears to take your flat soapskin and curve it to match the surface with the hole in it. But I can't replicate this behavior. Help.

Is the hole really small? Try scaling the object up 10x, running the tool, then scaling it back down to .1

Sir please make a video on how to use the cursor properly and know where your lines are going... I always feel confused where my line is going... either horizontal or vertical in case of 3d... not flat structure
